Method of Data Collection
The researcher with the help of four (4) research assistants administered the instrument to the students in their respective schools. The research assistants were briefed on the method of data administration. The instrument was administered and collected on the spot, this gave the respondents the chance for clarification where necessary and to ensure hundred percent return of the instrument.
Method of Data Analysis
Mean and standard deviation was used to answer research question one (1) while Pearson product moment correlation co-efficient was used to answer research questions two to four (2-4). Results were interpreted using criterion measure as follows:
4 – Very high relationship
3 – High relationship
2 – Moderate relationship
1 – Low relationship
2.50 was regarded as a bench mark for decision criterion. Any attribute from 2.50 and above was presumed satisfactory while attributes below was presumed unsatisfactory, poor or inadequate. Hypotheses were tested using simple linear regression analysis at 0.05 level of significance.
