Hints & Tips:

  • BE CREATIVE! Write your stories like a first-hand account of the event. If you can find a primary source, (a letter, diary entry or original newspaper article,) you may use that.

  • Think about how people would have viewed the war as you are writing. Pick a theme or position for your paper. You need to be a southern or northern paper as it will determine how you report.

  • Choose your partner carefully. Make sure you can actually get the work done & that you are both good on the computer. You might want to split the research first, and then decide on the layout of the paper.

  • Due Date:Th-3/19 and Fri- 3/20
