C.3. Market Share Analysis

Every business must determine their market share that will serve as the basis for the marketing strategies of the establishment. It will also provide the extent of the market to be satisfied. Out of the total available market which is 180% (gap divided by supply), we made our capacity to supply based on our resources. We have four project teams who can each work on 2 projects per week. The business’ capacity to supply per week and per year is 8 and 416, respectively, which is 0.77% of the total available market as shown in Table 6. Therefore, market share is computed by dividing the capacity to supply by the available market. The market share increases by 50% every year because of the additional employees that will be hired and the promotional efforts that will be done by the business.
