This morning, you will head back to the now-familiar Bayeux Gare (train station) to take the short train ride to Caen.
Walk out to the first shelter and take either Tram A or B in the direction of the old town (Direction Campus 2 for Line A. Direction St. Clair for Line B), leaving every 4 minutes. Get off at the 5th tram stop—Quatrans.
Spot the bus stop and take Bus #2 in Direction La Maladrerie. If you have any confusion or misgivings as the bus pulls up, politely ask your fellow riders or the driver if this is the bus to the “Mémorial de Caen.” Remember to validate your ticket when you board the tram and again on the bus when you transfer.
A second option to get to the Memorial Museum is to take a taxi, a ride of 2.3 miles, and arrange to be picked up again at around 3:00 pm.
