Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. II Peter 1:20-21.
2. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons, Godthe Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. I John 5:7 and Matthew 28:19.
3. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Luke 1:27-35.
4. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16.
5. We believe that the sinless life of the Lord Jesus Christ and His death on the cross were both necessary in the divine plan of atonement for the sin of mankind. Hebrews 9:14-15.
6. We believe in the necessity of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of man. Hebrews 9:22.
7. We believe that for one to be saved and receive eternal life, he must be born again, through faith in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. I Peter 1:23
8. We believe that water baptism is to be fulfilled by baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19.
9. We believe that immersion is the scriptural mode of water baptism. Romans 6:4.
10. We believe in all the supernatural manifestations recorded in the Old and New Testaments. Hebrews 2:3-4.
11. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4.
12. We believe the Baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the spirit of God gives them utterance. Acts 2:4.
13. We believe that healing for the body is included in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 8:16-17.
14. We believe in living a sanctified life. Hebrews 12:14.
15. We believe in, teach and practice tithing. Malachi 3:10.
16. We believe that the Lord's Supper is a perpetual ordinance to be observed frequently by Christians. I Corinthians 11:26.
17. We believe in hell (hades) as in the examples Jesus gave in Luke 16:19-31 which includes eternal punishment for the people that refuse to come to God through Jesus His Son.
18. We believe in the resurrection of both the righteous and the unsaved. The righteous to life everlasting and the wicked to eternal damnation. John 5:28-29 and Revelation 20:5-15.
19. We believe in the death, burial and physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ on the third day. I Corinthians 15:3-8.
20. We believe that the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ, and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church. I Thessalonians 4:16-17.
21. We believe that there will be a Great Tribulation. Revelation 7:14.
22. We believe in the personal, bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth. Acts 1:10-11. There is more than 300 second return prophecies in the Old and New Testaments.
23. We believe in the millennial (1000 years) reign of the Lord Jesus and His church on earth after the seven years of tribulation. Revelation 20:6.
24. In regard to whether you can loose your salvation are not, there are two theological view points.
The first is referred to as the Calvinistic viewpoint. That position states that you cannot loose your salvation. However, if you knowingly practice sin in your life, that would mean that you were not born again in the first place.
The second position is the Armenian, which states that once you have become born again you can turn back to a life of sin. This means that you have not lost your salvation but, you threw it away through your rebellion.
The end result of both positions is the same. You would not go to Heaven.
We have had great men of God argue back and forth on this issue with resulting church splits and so on.
We suggest that you live your life in a manner that if you died right now, there would be no question that we would see you in Heaven. Amen;

Statement of Faith
We Believe...
-
The Bible, both Old & New Testaments is the inerrant, verbally inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21).
-
In One God, Eternally self-existent in Three Persons, The Father, The Son, & The Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:6; Matthew 3:16-17).
-
In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the Cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead, and His exaltation to the right hand of The Father. (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31,35; Hebrews 7:26; I Peter 2:22; Acts 2:22; Acts 10:38; I Corinthians 15:3,4; II Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; Acts 1:9.11; Acts 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:1-3)
-
The Fall & Redemption of Man. Man is a created being, made in the Image & Likeness of God. However, man by voluntary transgression fell. Sin came into the world. Man incurred physical and also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).
-
Mans only hope for salvation and redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, The Son of God.
-
Mans first step toward salvation is Godly sorrow that worketh repentance toward God, then faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7)
-
The inward evidences of salvation is the witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24; Titus. 2:12)
-
In the two ordinances of the Church
-
In the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 for all believers who will believe and receive it. It is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:5; Acts 2:4)
-
In the Sanctification process for believers. Sanctification is definite, yet progressive work of Grace that continues though out the life of the believer. (Hebrews 12:14; Thessalonians 5:23; II Peter 3:18; II Corinthians 3:18; Phil 3:12-14; I Corinthians 1:30)
-
Sanctification in the Believer's heart and life is accomplished as the Believer puts His/Her faith in the finished work of Christ upon the Cross which gives the Holy Spirit opportunity to perform His work in the heart and life of the Believer. Colossians 2:6 bears this out. "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him:"
-
That Divine Healing is provided in the atonement to believers in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
-
In the laying on of hands. In obedience to the example and words of the Bible. We believe in laying on of hands for blessing, for healing the sick, to confer office, to receive the Holy Ghost, to receive anointing and for ordination to consecrate and receive the necessary ministry tools. (Mark 5:22; Acts 8:16-18; I Timothy 4:14)
-
In the Pre-Tribulation rapture of the Church. (I Thessalonians 4:16-18; I Thessalonians 5:9)
-
The Thousand Year Reign of Jesus Christ at the conclusion of the Great Tribulation. (Revelation. 20:6)
-
Hell and Eternal Retribution. The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal. The terms 'eternal' and 'everlasting', used in describing the duration of punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; Hebrews 6:1-2)
-
The New Heavens and the New Earth. "We, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelt righteousness: (II Peter 3:13; see also Revelation 21 and 22).
