The Contractor shall provide maintenance and support for the Alcatel-Lucent PBX systems and all ancillary equipment that make up the STN at the Salem VAMC sites identified in Section 4.2. The STN support services shall include routine Maintenance, emergency maintenance, follow-on services, preventive maintenance, operation support, software support, inventory management, documentation, and training support.
The Contractor shall also provide Certificate of Maintainability as an optional task, if the optional task is exercised.
The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, test equipment, materials, transportation, management supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform tasks and functions as outlined in this PWS.
APPLICABILITY
This Task Order (TO) effort PWS is within the scope of paragraph(s) 4.6 and 4.8 of the T4NG Basic PWS.
ORDER TYPE
The effort shall be proposed on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis.
PERFORMANCE DETAILS PERFORMANCE PERIOD
The PoP shall be one (12) month base period with two (2) twelve (12) month options periods and an optional task (Certificate of Maintainability). The optional task shall be exercised only once anytime during base or option period.

Work may be performed at remote locations with prior concurrence from the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). A normal tour-of-duty in a VA facility is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. There may be instances in which the Contractor’s workday may be outside this normal tour-of-duty in events of and emergency, i.e., PBX outage, needing to work in special access areas like the operating rooms or heavy patient access areas, or maintenance that system down time is required and a possibility.
TRAVEL OR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Government anticipates the Contractor to travel between VA Locations identified in section 4.2 to perform the tasks associated with the effort, as well as to attend program-related meetings or conferences throughout the PoP. Include all estimated travel costs in your firm-fixed price line items. These costs will not be directly reimbursed by the Government.
All requirements of Sections 7.0 and 8.0 of the T4NG Basic PWS apply to this effort. This TO shall be addressed in the Contractor’s Progress, Status and Management Report (CPSMR) as set forth in the T4NG Basic contract.

All requirements in Section 6.0 of the T4NG Basic PWS apply. Addendum B requirements have been tailored to reflect the security and privacy requirements of this specific TO and are inserted herein as a new Addendum B.

The Tasks identified above and the resulting Position Sensitivity and Background Investigation requirements identify, in effect, the Background Investigation requirements for Contractor individuals, based upon the tasks the particular Contractor individual will be working. The submitted Contractor Staff Roster must indicate the required Background Investigation Level for each Contractor individual based upon the tasks the Contractor individual will be working, in accordance with their submitted proposal.
