Limerick Reaches West Virginia
When we got to Beech Fork State Park in Barboursville, West Virginia there was a lot of things to do. Everyone wanted to play volleyball but some of us wanted to go swimming. Sonia, Melina, Daniel and Alex played basketball and in the middle of the game the teacher stopped us to go eat on the grass. Mr.Carbonell took out his sandwiches and started eating
. Beech Fork State Park was officially opened in the winter of 1979 and offers 3,144 acres of fun stuff to do. We really enjoyed stopping there.
The second place we went to was West Virginia Wild and Wonderful. We all wanted to go there because we all wanted to ski and snowboard even though Mr. Tapia didn’t know how to do either one of them. Jovanna and Taylor were pros because Taylor’s friend Kyle had taught them. The place had a whole bunch of snow, that we were able to make ten snowmen and 1000 snowballs. It also had a lodge inside with a fireplace. We saw a man making a snow slide. We had to leave to our next destination
but none of us wanted to, but we had no choice.
