Cavender”) born May 21, 1914, married Pauline Jackson who was born July 29, 1918. Frances Cavender and Pauline Cavender had one son named: Raymond Eugene Cavender ("Raymond Cavender" & “R.G. Morris ("John Morris") May 2, 1877 in Coweta County, Georgia, died December 9, 1928 and is buried with her husband in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County, Georgia. John Morris was born July 29, 1854 in Alabama and died May 27, 1904 in Coweta County, Georgia. John Morris and Henrietta Morris lived in Alabama for a while after their marriage and moved to Coweta County, Georgia. The 1900 census lists them in the 4th. District of Coweta County and had 11 children, 9 of which were then still living. In the 1910 census for the same district, Henrietta Cavender was listed as the head of the household. The 11 children of John Morris and Henrietta Morris were: Fannie E. Morris ("Fannie Morris") born either May 18, 1878 or May 18, 1880403 in Alabama, married December 26, 1906 to Oscar S. Fincher ("Oscar Fincher") in Coweta County, Georgia, died August 1, 1942, and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church in Coweta County, Georgia. Oscar Fincher was born about 1876, and died August 1, 1942. According to the 1910 census for the 4th.. District of Coweta County, Georgia, Fannie Morris was then living with her mother; Byrd Morris born December 1880 in Alabama; Mary B. Morris ("Mary Morris") born February 1883 in Georgia, married March 20, 1910 to William Wage Goodman ("William Goodman") in Coweta County, Georgia, and died about 1967. William Goodman was born about 1878 in Georgia to Teleka Goodman, died in 1948. Both William Goodman and Mary Goodman are buried in the Elim Baptist Church in Coweta County, Georgia. According to the 1910 census, the William Goodman family was then living in the 4th.. District of Coweta County, Georgia; Bernard Morris born March 1884 in Georgia; Essie Morris born February 27, 1886 in Coweta County, Georgia, married John Samuel Wortham ("John Wortham") December 27, 1914 in Coweta County, and died May 11, 1979. John Wortham was born August 21, 1894 and died January 26, 1974. Both John Wortham and Essie Wortham are buried in the Elim Baptist Church in Coweta County. John Wortham and Essie Wortham had 4 children: Sarah Wortham who married an Alford in Newnan, Georgia; Harriett Wortham who married an Erquitt in Atlanta, Georgia; J.B. James Almon was born February 20, 1845 in Heard County, Georgia to Hezekiah Allmon ("Hezekiah Almon") and Elizabeth Taylor, and died March 25, 1916. Joseph McKoy was born January 22, 1857 in Georgia to John T. McKoy ("John McKoy") and either Frances403 or his second wife, Lucy Jane Elder ("Lucy Elder"?), and died October 13, 1945 in Georgia. Joseph McKoy and Frances McKoy lived in the 4th... District of Georgia. Of their 6 children, three supposedly died at infancy. However, in the 1900 census for Coweta County, 5 children were then alive. The 6 known children of Joseph McKoy and Frances McKoy were: Earl Cavender McKoy ("Earl McKoy") born in November 1878 in Georgia, married November 12, 1902 to Eva Grimes in Coweta County, Georgia, and died March 9, 1966 in Coweta County. Eva Grimes was born about 1885, and died March 9, 1966. They lived in Newman, Coweta County, Georgia and Earl McKoy was a mail carrier. Earl McKoy and Eva McKoy had the following 4 children, only 2 of which were apparently living in 1910 according to the census report: Edna McKoy born about 1908; Earl Cavender McKoy, Jr. ("Earl McKoy") married Elan E. Plant ("Elan Plant") on November 26, 1953 in Coweta County, Georgia; Frances McKoy; and, Luther Fred McKoy ("Luther McKoy"); Ernest Lee McKoy ("Ernest Lee McKoy"?, "Ernest McKoy", & "Evart McKoy") born in August 1881, married about 1906 to Odessa Lee Hutchens ("Odessa Hutchens") who was born about 1889, and died May 3, 1961 in Coweta County, Georgia. Ernest McKoy died May 23, 1944 in Coweta County, Georgia. Evart McKoy and Odessa McKoy had 5 children: Mable McKoy ("Mabell McKoy"?); Mary McKoy; Ruby McKoy; Lee McKoy; and, Herbert McKoy; and, Roy Elder McKoy ("Roy McKoy"?, "Ray E. McKoy" & "Ray McKoy") born January 1, 1884, married December 20, 1905 to Lena M. Hutchens ("Lena Hutchens") in Coweta County, Georgia. Lena Hutchens was born about 1888, and died May 1960 in Coweta County. According to the 1910 census, Roy McKoy family was living near his father in Coweta County. Ray McKoy and Lena McKoy had 7 children: Carlton Bryan McKoy ("Carl McKoy", "Carl B. McKoy" & "Carlton McKoy") born in 1908; Edwin Neal McKoy ("Edwin McKoy") born in 1909; Bessie McKoy; Joseph Ray McKoy ("Joseph McKoy"); Fannie McKoy (“Francis McKoy”?); Frank Amos McKoy ("Frank McKoy"); and, Raiford Milton McKoy ("Raiford McKoy"); Fannie M. McKoy ("Fannie McKoy") born October 1893; Ralph McKoy born April 25, 1895 and died August 10, 1966; and, Nellie McKoy born August 10, 1896; and, (ix) AMANDA BARROW CAVENDER ("Amanda Bartow Cavender", "Amanda Cavender", “A.B. Cavender” & “Bartholomew Cavender”) born May 31, 1861 in Coweta County, Georgia, married Francis Marion Chappell ("Francis Chappell", “Francis M. Chappel”, “Frank Marion Chappel” & “Frank M. Chappell”) on October 21, 1877 in Cowetta County, Georgia. FHL Number 470367 She died on either July 31, 1949 or on July 21, 1949 493 in the 4th. District of Coweta County, Georgia and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church in Coweta County, Georgia. Francis Chappell was born April 16, 1864, about 1901 invented the 2-bale hand operated hay press, about 1902 invented a churn, died February 23, 1924 in Coweta County, Georgia, and is buried with his wife. Francis Chappell and Amanda Chappell had 3 children: Mary Frances Chappell ("Mary Chappell") born July 20, 1879 in Coweta County, Georgia, married Benjamin Alexander Mosley ("Benjamin Mosley") about 1907 in Coweta County, died June 19, 1966, and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County, Georgia. Benjamin Mosley was born September 16, 1879, died November 23, 1950, and is buried with his wife. Benjamin Mosley and Mary Mosley had a son named: Benjamin Chappell Mosley ("Benjamin Mosley") who was born February 7, 1910, died July 21, 1966, and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County, Georgia; Lee O. Chappell ("Lee Chappell") born November 14, 1881 in Coweta County, Georgia, married Theo A. Crowder ("Theo Crowder") January 19, 1929 in Coweta County, died April 6, 1969 in Coweta County, and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County. Theo Crowder was born May 4, 1881 in Coweta County, was the son of William L. Crowder ("William Crowder") and a Sophia, died August 20, 1953, and is buried with his wife; and, William Pierce Chappell ("William Chappell") born July 19, 1886 in Coweta County, Georgia, died July 25, 1973, and is buried in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County, Georgia; and, (5) JESSE JOHN CAVENDER ("Jesse J. Cavender", “J.J. Cavender” & "Jesse Cavender") was born September 22, 1817 in either Whiteburg, Anson County, North Carolina or in Whitesburg, Carroll County, Georgia494, married either Susan Ann Echols (“Susan Echols”)493 & 494 about 1838 or Susan Ann Aaron ("Susan Aaron" & "Susanna Aaron") on October 19, 1837 in Georgia, died on either September 10, 1854493 & 494 or on September 12, 1854429 in Carroll County, Georgia giving a "verbal will" which was recorded December 8, 1854 naming his brother, Obediah Cavender ("Obadiah Cavender"?), as executor of his estate, and is buried with his wife and some of his children in Cavender Cemetery near Lowell in Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia. Other Cavender children are buried in the family cemetery of Rev. William Harris Aaron, brother of Jesse Cavender's wife, Susan Aaron. The cemetery is located near Newton County, Georgia near Starrsville, Georgia on the old Pete Knox farm. Susan Aaron was born October 19, 1818 in Newton County, Georgia and died October 5, 1879 in Carroll County. She was the daughter of John Aaron who settled in Jasper County, Georgia by 1827 and who died before 1830. In the 1832 Cherokee, Georgia ("Cherokee Nations") land lottery, the four orphan children of John Aaron: (i) Susan Ann Aaron ("Susan Aaron") born about 1818 in Georgia, married Jessee J. Cavender ("Jessee Cavender" & “Jesse Cavender”?) and died about 1879 in Carroll County, Georgia; (ii) Elizabeth Aaron born about 1820, married A.J. Mize ("Joseph Mize") who was born about 1816 in Coweta County, Georgia, and they had five children from about 1841 to 1849; (iii) James Cornelius Aaron ("James C. Aaron" & "James Aaron") born March 3, 1815 in Lincoln County, Georgia, and died May 9, 1880 in Jasper County, Georgia, and (iv) William Harris Aaron ("William Aaron") born about 1816 in Georgia and died about 1892 in Newton County, Georgia, won property called "Land Lot No. 126" which comprised approximately 180 acres of land in the Tenth District, Second Section, originally Cherokee Territory or Cherokee Nations Territory, now Gilmer County, Georgia while they were then living in Jasper County, Georgia. Apparently the Aaron children sold the land in Coweta County, Georgia to David Sisson of Habersham County, Georgia on November 28, 1845 for $200. The deed was signed by J.C. Aaron of Jasper County, Georgia, William H. Aaron of the same location by his brother J.C. Aaron who had a power of attorney, A.J. Mize of Coweta County, Georgia and Jesse J. Cavender of the same location. In the 1850 census for 11th District of Carroll County, Georgia, the children of Jesse Cavender and Susan Cavender were all listed as having been born in Georgia and were Sarah Elizabeth Cavender ("Sarah Cavender") age 11 and thus born about 1839, Efram Cavender age 8 and thus born about 1842, James Cavender age 6 and thus born about 1842, Jackson Cavender age 5 and thus born about 1845, Georgia Cavender age 4 and thus born about 1846, Lucy Cavender age 2 and thus born about 18428, and Martha Cavender age 2 months and thus born about 1850. (NOTE: According to another source, Jesse John Cavender married Susan Echols.493) In either event, Jesse Cavender and Susan Cavender had 10 children: (i) SARAH ELIZABETH CAVENDER ("Sarah Cavender", "Sallie Cavender", “Sarah E. Cavender”, “S.E. Cavender” & "Sally Cavender") born March 14, 1839 in Georgia, first married William Thomas Roberts, Sr. ("William Roberts") on May 29, 1857 in Carroll County, Georgia, and who died in the Civil War. She later married John M. Taylor ("John Taylor") on August 20, 1865 in Carroll County, died April 20, 1916 in Carroll County, and is buried in Cavender Cemetery in Carrollton, Carroll County. John Taylor was born March 18, 1847, died June 30, 1916 and is also buried in the Cavender Cemetery. The children of William Roberts and Sarah Roberts had 3 children: Ellen Lathonia Roberts ("Ellen Roberts") born April 26, 1858 in Clayton County, Georgia, married George Washington Tuggle ("George Tuggle"), died either on May 20, 1944 or on May 20, 1949429, and is buried in Carroll County, Georgia; William Thomas Roberts, Jr. ("William Roberts") born August 3, 1859 in Coweta County, Georgia, first married Hardy Clyde Jones ("Hardy Jones") on September 15, 1886, later married Julia Frances Strickland ("Julia Strickland"), served in Company H of the 12th Georgia Regiment, and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia; and, Richmond Williamsburg Roberts ("Richmond Roberts") born July 26, 1861 in Clayton County, Georgia, married Mary Elizabeth Smith ("Mary Smith") on February 11, 1891, and died April 22, 1916. John Taylor and Sarah Taylor had 8 children: John Jesse Taylor, Jr. ("John Taylor") born July 1, 1866 and married Magie Lee ("Maggie Lee"); Hattie Taylor born about 1870 married George Clark and lived in Coweta County, Georgia; Exie Taylor born about 1872 and married Calude Mann; Moses Dara Lee Taylor ("Moses Taylor") born November 29, 1873, married Willie Pollard, and died December 15, 1936; Adores Marian Byrd Taylor ("Odores Taylor" & "Adores Taylor") born March 31, 1875, married Mary Frances Kay ("Mary Kay"), and died December 20, 1954; Clara E. Taylor ("Clara Taylor") born September 28, 1878, died July 14, 1895, and is buried in the Cavender Cemetery in Carrollton, Georgia; Homer Wade Taylor ("Homer Taylor") born February 20, 1877 and married Alice Barr; and Robert Martin Taylor ("Robert Taylor") born October 5, 1880, married Allie Mashburn in Carroll County, Georgia, and died February 16, 1968. Robert Taylor and Allie Taylor had a son named: Ray Taylor who was born December 3, 1918 in Carroll County, Georgia and married Marill McNeal January 3, 1942 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. Ray Taylor and Marill Taylor had at least 3, and possibly 4 children: Neal Grayson Taylor ("Neal Taylor") born November 11, 1946; Byron Cavender Taylor ("Byron Taylor") born April 18, 1954; and, Margarette LaRaye Taylor ("Margarette Taylor") born June 19, 1956; and possibly had another daughter: Clara E. Taylor ("Clare Taylor") who was born September 28, 1878, died on July 14, 1895, and is buried in the Cavender Cemetery; (ii) JOHN EPHRAM MITCHELL CAVENDER ("John Ephraim Cavender", "John Effraim Cavender", "John Cavender", John Effraim M. Cavender", "Ephram Cavender", "John Ephram Cavender", "Effraim Cavender", "John E.M. Cavender", “J.E.M. Cavender”, “J.E. Cavender”, "Efraim Cavender" & "Epraim Cavender"?) born about 1842 in Georgia, was raised in Georgia about 7 miles from Whitesburg, Georgia and about 4 miles from Lowell, Georgia on the Chattahoochee River, and married his cousin, Sarah Elizabeth Aaron, ("Sarah Aaron" & “Sarah E. Aaron”) on December 19, 1865 in Starsville, Newton County, Georgia, and died about 1939. Sarah Aaron was born April 28, 1845 and died May 24, 1896. She was the second daughter of Rev. William Harris Aaron ("William Aaron") who was born about 1816 and died about 1892 and the son of John Aaron and Sarah Aaron and, therefore, was the brother of Susan Ann Aaron, Elizabeth Aaron, and James Cornelius Aaron. The wife of Rev. William Aaron was Mary Jane Lawson ("Mary Lawson"). John Cavender and Sarah Cavender had 12 children: James Jackson Cavender ("James Cavender", “James J. Cavender”, “J.J. Cavender” & "Jack Cavender") born September 22, 1866, never married, died September 9, 1890 and is buried in the Rev. William Aaron Cemetery in Starrsville, Newton County, Georgia; William Fare Cavender ("William Cavender", “William F. Cavender”, “W.F. Cavender” & "Willie Cavender") born May 8, 1868, never married, died May 5, 1891, and is buried in the Rev. William Aaron Cemetery in Starrsville, Newton County, Georgia; G.T. Cavender ("C.T. Cavender") born August 15, 1870, died September 1, 1870, and is buried in the Rev. William Aaron Cemetery in Starrsville, Newton County, Georgia; Dodus Winfield Cavender ("Dodus Cavender" & “D.W. Cavender”) born August 15, 1870 and died September 1, 1970; Ann Jane Cavender ("Ann Cavender", “Ann J. Cavender” & “A.J. Cavender”) born September 23, 1871 and died September 25, 1871 and is buried in the Rev. William Aaron Cemetery in Starrsville, Newton County, Georgia; Thomas Davis Cavender ("Thomas Cavender", Thomas D. Cavender, “T.D. Cavender”, "Tommie Cavender" & "Tommie Cavender") born June 20, 1873 and died September 8, 1900; Camillus Cavender born November 23, 1875 and never married; and, John Michael Cavender ("John Cavender", “John M. John Cavender and Eddie Cavender had the following children: Lillian Janette Cavender ("Lillian Cavender" & “L.J. Cavender”) born July 30, 1912; Quida Ephram Cavender ("Quida Cavender", "Ephram Cavender", “Q.E. Cavender” & "Quida Cavender") born March 25, 1917; John Mitchell Cavender, Jr. ("John Cavender", “J.M. Cavender” & “John M. Cavender”) born August 11, 1920; and, Mattie Inez Cavender ("Mattie Cavender") born May 20, 1924; (iii) JAMES WASHINGTON CAVENDER ("James Cavender", “J.W. Cavender” & “James W. Cavender”) born February 20, 1843 in Carrol County, Georgia, married Sarah L. Roberts ("Sarah Roberts") in Carroll County, Georgia on January 28, 1868, and died February 15, 1923 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia. Sarah Roberts was born April 12, 1845 and died June 1, 1913. James Cavender was a Sergeant in Company F, CAV. Battallion, Phillips Legion of Georgia. Both James Cavender and his wife are buried in the Cavender Cemetery in Carrollton, Georgia. Apparently James Cavender and Sarah Cavender had a daughter named: Edmonia Cavender born about 1869;265, 327 & 355 (iv) ANDREW JACKSON CAVENDER ("Andrew Cavender", “Andrew J. Cavender” & “A.J. Cavender”) born December 25, 1845 in Carroll County, Georgia, married a Martha S., died November 6, 1927 in Carroll County and is buried with his wife in the Cavender Cemetery in Carrollton, Georgia. Andrew Cavender was in the same Battallion as his brother James Cavender. Martha S. was born October 15, 1848, died March 28, 1892, and is buried in the Cavender Cemetery in Carroll County, Georgia. Andrew Cavender and Martha Cavender had 4 children: Bunny O. Cavender ("Bunny Cavender", “B.O.
