Camden County Pt. 3

The third file in Camden also has a major mall as the pixel with the most aTaxi trips leaving from it. Cherry Hill Mall, located in a wealthy suburb of Philadelphia, occupies a large portion of the ¼ square mile pixel. It also exhibits very similar patterns as the Browning Mall did, which can be seen in the graphs below.

Cherry Hill Mall (143, 62)

Again, it would seem here that aside from some minor fluctuations earlier in the day between midnight and noon, AVO rises at an approximately linear rate at the same time that the number of aTaxi departures rises. This suggests a better use for aTaxi implementation later in the day, when both critical numbers are higher.

The above two graphs demonstrate more of the same trends as discussed in the previous counties, that there are more total passenger miles per trip than aTaxi miles and that they follow the same general distribution. It’s also notable that this is an easier way of seeing that there are less trips near the beginning of the day.
