Hepatitis C: New drug treatment 'is a breakthrough'   CIO

<888> 04/13/14 Sunday 5:30 A.M.  I chatted about business with the http://casamarinaresort.com/ .  On a minor point of interest that most people do not seem to know, the http://www.nps.gov/cana/index.htm is private British property owned by the http://www.grosvenor.com/home/ family of England http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_of_Westminster .  Since a British ambassador to the United States of America can live anywhere in the United States of America, maybe he should live on the Grosvenor property in Florida.  We all know the British are sun starved living in their cold damp foggy environment.  However, when I toured the property just south of New Smyrna, Florida during the winter of 1979 with John Bolton, it is totally undeveloped, and looks like Florida did, when the Spanish first arrived there five hundred years ago.  However, it is very dangerous with lots of shark fins out on the ocean side and probably big gators on the Inland waterway side.  CIO

<888> 04/13/14 Sunday 3:40 A.M.  Of course, if you are really interested in the history of New York City, one might try http://www.nypl.org/ or http://www.mcny.org/ .  Of course the new money in New Amsterdam are never interested in the old world Dutch perspective http://www.indiahouseclub.org/ or http://www.trinitywallstreet.org/content/st-pauls-chapel or http://www.aasrvalleyofnewyorkcity.com/ .  When I was six feet tall and 125 pounds, when I was living in Manhattan in my younger years, I noticed some larger people; but they never paid much attention to me, but possibly some of my younger friends grew up a bit.  CIO

<888> 04/13/14 Sunday 3:15 A.M.  Basically in observing around Greenwich, Connecticut; I see one man around here that looks like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Clay_Frick , but I have only chatted with his chauffeur with him over hearing.  Of course, if they had kept this place http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eagle_Rock,_Prides_Crossing,_MA.jpg going, they might have room for more relatives today.  CIO

<888> 04/12/14 Saturday 8:55 A.M.  I threw out the garbage.  I went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area.   I saw a couple of vehicles that have arrived up north from Florida.  At the north side of the People's Bank at the bottom of Greenwich Avenue, they are putting in a Tropical Drink store, and they are looking for help.  The new Restoration Hardware store project at the former Greenwich Post Office is coming along just fine.  They have put in another entrance on Greenwich Avenue, where the loading ramp used to be.  It looks like quite the fancy neoclassical building that it once was.  There is another store going in where Victoria's Secret used to be.  With the former signs off the building on the northeast side of Greenwich Avenue and Lewis Street, one can see the shadow imprints of the letters "The Putnam Trust Company".  The new street lamp on the south side of the side walk at the Senior and the Arts Center, and the one by the Police Station entrance, and the one at the top of Greenwich Avenue on the west side are out of alignment and missing their domes, I guess from high winds this winter.  I stopped by CVS, and I bought two 17.5 ounce CVS Deluxe Mixed Nuts lightly salted for $6.99 each for $13.98 total.  I chatted with a few locals.  I used the bathroom at Starbucks.  The bathroom at CVS is still under construction.  I sat out for a while.  I then went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I filled up the fuel tank of the Volvo wagon for $9.01 of self service V-Powered premium gasoline for $4.299 a gallon with a dime a gallon off with my Stop and Shop card for 2.096 gallons at odometer reading of 107619 miles for 24.9 miles driven since Tuesday April 1, 2014 for 11.88 miles per gallon in local traffic.  We no longer drive down by the waterfront on Steamboat Road anymore, since I can not afford the extra dollar in gasoline for the extra driving each trip.  I then returned home, and I chatted with a neighbor.  CIO

<888> 04/11/14 Friday 8:20 A.M.  I woke up at 1:30 A.M..  When I started up the primary work computer, it was malfunctioning.  After several hours of trouble shooting, I determined it was the second 200 Gigabyte IDE backup hard drive was failing.  I replaced it with a new Seagate 300 gigabyte IDE hard drive that I had as a spare, and I also put a new IDE cable on the second and third hard drives.  I then did a Windows backup of both partitions on the first hard drive to the new second hard drive.  I ate breakfast of oatmeal with honey and milk, a toasted English muffin with olive oil, a 12 ounce glass of 50% punch and 50% cold filtered water and vitamins and supplements, and a cup of coffee with milk and Splenda sweetener.  I made my bed.  I washed the breakfast dishes.  I will now shower and clean up.  The primary work computer seems to be running fine once again.

<888> 04/07/14 Monday 10:10 A.M.  Business wise in this area, the few times since 1962, when I could afford to travel in this area, I remember a few times driving up Route 7 north of Danbury, Connecticut up to Northern Vermont, and pretty much along both sides of the road, there are a lot of black and white dairy cows.  Since there are 6.5 million Italians in the New York and New England area, there might be money to be made in Italian dairy products, if one knew how to produce such items.  CIO

<888> 04/07/14 Monday 9:45 A.M.  Having worked as a clerk typist at www.cbsnews.com during Watergate, although I was fired for not making to work by 10 A.M. after three months, I became somewhat established in the news business.  However, on limited income, one can not write anything that one might be sued for, and it takes funds to look into events elsewhere.  Thus I am basically left being the Village Idiot or the Maytag repairman in Greenwich, Connecticut; where I can not even afford to visit nearby Port Chester, New York or Old Greenwich, where other people in this area live.  From experience, I know Fort Lauderdale, Florida was always interesting in coming up with news stories, because so many people drink alcohol down there around the busy waterfront.  Whether there is any substance to their bar room conversations is opened to debate, but they are near the more volatile Miami, Florida area; so they possibly know something we do not.  In the fall of 1976 in Fort Lauderdale, when I was there waiting for my unemployment checks to come in from Daniel Construction in Greenville, South Carolina; there was some sort of conflict with the local authorities in Fort Lauderdale, and they had to call in the http://www.usmarshals.gov/ to restore law and order, but from my viewpoint on the beach at the time, it was a cold winter down there, and there were not many people around, and most of them were older retired people not causing any problems.  Thus the local writers in the Fort Lauderdale http://www.sun-sentinel.com/ might have been stretching the truth for fun and profit.  That area of Florida is well known for tabloid journalism.  CIO
