V. Learning Experiences



  1. Engage (mins)

Show a short video clip “Tool Story” to the learners about the inappropriate usage of hand tools in a specific task;

Questions:

1. What have you observed in the given video?

2. What lesson can you get out of it?

3. How many of you here have experienced using tools in an inappropriate way? (Numeracy) (Share your experiences)

4. What is the importance of observing safety procedures in doing the given task?

5. What should you do to avoid damaging the different hand tools?


  1. Explore (mins)

Group the students into 3. Each group will make a table with information about each tool that they can be found inside the classroom. Each group will be provided with a cartolina and marker and is only given 5 minutes to finish their outputs.

After 5 minutes, each group will present their output.
