Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Human Research Program 142 to 153 Exploration Research and Development (ERD) Human Research Program HRP will re-compete its external institute cooperative agreement for the first time in 20 years. The new initiative, public-private partnership -Translational Research Institute, will lead a national effort in translating cutting-edge emerging terrestrial biomedical research and technology development into applied space flight human risk mitigation strategies for exploration missions. Education 100 to 100 NASA plans to release a new EONS opportunity no later than the last quarter of FY 2017 with a rolling schedule of opportunities through FY 2018. Education B.Sc. in forest management from the University of Vermont Masters of Forestry from Yale University PhD in ecophysiology from Oregon State University in 1985 Program: A4 Terrestrial Ecology NASA ROSES 2016 The goals of NASA’s Terrestrial Ecology research are to improve understanding of the structure, function, and productivity of terrestrial ecosystems across the globe, their interactions with the atmosphere and hydrosphere, and their role in the cycling of the major biogeochemical elements and water.
