It has been six years since the Science Group of Fudan University founded on April 22nd, 2005.
The Science Group is well known as an academic group on science. The group is affiliated to Department of Material Science, and cooperates with it academically once in a while. The Science Group has grown from a tiny group to a larger one. However, still not satisfied with the present situation, we are looking forward to make further improvements, in order to draw the attention from the whole campus.
Besides, students who select the course "A Brief History of Science" are among our target members. They are supposed to communicate and discuss on what they've learned with their group mates. Consequently, the Science Group is closely interrelated to the course "A Brief History of Science".
At this period of time, the Science Group is developing rapidly. The main activities include learning about the history of science, sharing the latest technology and publicizing scientific knowledge. At the beginning, most of the members were science student and engineering student. Gradually, all the students, no matter what subject he or she majors in, show much interest in our group. Thus, we decide to expand the range of our group, to add more activities on humanity, and to make science easier to understand, and more comprehensive meanwhile.
The Science Group will develop mainly in two aspects. In one aspect, we will make good use of the course "A Brief History Of Science", to present our activities and achievements. In the other one, we will set up an expansion of our group-size to the whole campus, which is based on spreading history of science and advanced scientific information among students.
The Science Group is composed of a chairman, several councilmen, and many members. The members can be divided to two parts, some participate in the course "A Brief History Of Science", and the others not participate in the course but have interest in science. At present, the members are either undergraduate students or graduate students.

The Club of Humanism of Fudan University
The Club of Humanism of Fudan University was founded in 1991 by professors in the school of philosophy. It is one of the first student clubs in Fudan University and well received by the students majoring in philosophy.
It was formerly known as National Studies Club, a branch of the academic student group community. Our activities are mainly related to philosophy, literature, history, religion and many other humanity disciplines.
The whole idea of the club of humanism is to create a platform on which students and teachers can communicate and discuss freely on the subject of human spirit and human nature. With a heart to pursuit the true meaning of humanism, the members of our club are enthusiastic as they are sapiential, and eager as they are reasonable. The Club of Humanism is always open to those who are seeking truth and a piece of tranquility.
Law School Youth League (LSYL) is originated from the Legal Association, which belonged to the Law Department of Fudan University in 1980s. This dynamic association is mainly made up with undergraduates from school of law. Theory study, together with professional practice has built up the academic soul of our league. Time withers neither its firm beliefs nor unwavering pursuit of better. Instead, even greater vigor appears.
LSYL is highly efficient due to the well-organized internal system, consisting of a president and three vice presidents. The league president takes charge of the overall arrangement and also acts as the representative to the public. The other three, however, look into more specific work, including asset allocation, public relations, campus promotion, on-the-spot charge, paper work, regular activity, and the law school review.
“The tree is known by its fruit.”(BIBLE, Matthew 12:33)
Over a decade, academic and practical achievements have been produced. Our activities cover a rather broad field from UK-US moot court, Chinese moot court, academic salon, lawyers’ lecture, legal dissemination and consultancy service, to case analysis and workshop. Not to mention the expert talks provided by widely recognized scholars, legal practice seminars and other co-organized serial events with Shanghai Schools of Law Association.
, the monthly periodical edited by LSYL, has also gained certain influence even outside the campus.
Certification by School of Law.
