Life and Potentiality AssociationLife and Potentiality Association，which is set up in the summer of 2010， is an academic association aimed at application of different theories about human potentiality. Many students were attracted by this new field of combination of psychology and many other subjects. Those students who are interested in the current phenomenon of life and psychology, especially the potential development of psychology work and study together. And in this association, students get a lot of fun and practical knowledge during the process of practice. We have 53 members now. In this semester, we will organize various activities on mental health, the cultivation of innovative thinking, psychological testing and control, the Interpretation of Dreams, the link of blood type, constellation and personality, social and psychological grasp of the development of mental potentiality. We hope our members can develop their own potential in the activities. Association for Deng Xiaoping TheoryAssociation for Deng Xiaoping Theory (ADT) was founded in 1997. In the past 12 years, we have kept a strict and pragmatic attitude to work and applied ourselves to carry forward the political wisdom and achievement of Mr. Deng. ADT has 158 members, who come from different schools and departments of Fudan University. ADT has five well-known regular activities including biweekly saloon, classical works reading, master time, social practice and communication with other associations. As the pioneer of academic associations of Fudan University, ADT is an 8 times winner of Fudan University Five-star Association and 3 times winner of Shanghai Star Association.
On Sept.2009, Global Affairs Forum (GAF) was founded in Fudan University, Shanghai. GAF was merged by two traditional political associations, the Fudan International Studies Association and New Ban Yue Tan Association, and hence become a new powerful student association which has both the experience and spirit of innovation. Being the only student association attached to School of International Relation and Public Affairs (SIRPA) and Institutes for International Studies (IIS), GAF owns plenty of teachers and academic resource. Centered around the core ideology “only on academic, all for world”, GAF is designed to provide a new perspective to analyze and a platform to study and interact for all the students who are interested in politics and concerned about China and world, by which to improve the school political climate, guide the school public opinion, arouse the attention to national and public affairs, and assist in cultivating the future political elites for China. GAF has a variety of forms of activities, including lecture, salon, brain storm, policy debates, academic discussion, public opinion research, social practice etc. Otherwise, GAF edits the Journal “Knock and Talk”, the contents of which cover the commentary on current affairs, guidance for reading, frontiers of discipline, profound analysis on internal or external politics, activities of association, research briefs of GAF members etc. “Knock and Talk” is widely acclaimed for its fresh materials, original analysis and academic spirit. Global Affairs Forum: The most important event to display GAF to the public, continuing one week each semester, including several kinds of activity such as academic lectures, brainstorming, policy debates, seminars etc. East Asia Political and Economic Student Forum: GAF provide several chance for its member to attend East Asia Political and Economic Student Forum held by Peking University, Fudan University, Seoul National University and Tokyo University. Global Rostrum: Formal academic lecture on political issues for students and teachers Brain Storm: GAF invites some youth scholars of SIRPA or IIS to cooperate with students and discuss and debate on given issues in the form of brain storm. Policy Debates: GAF organizes its member in two parts (the government side and the opposition side) and debates on the current affairs or the domestic and foreign policy of states in Parliamentary-Style Debates. Salons “In and Out of Classroom”: Discuss the issues related to course with its teacher (specifically for undergraduate students of SIEPA) Themed Salon: Discuss the issues under one theme with the scholar specified invited Guidance for reading: Recommend and discuss the books and skills of reading, and share the good harvest in reading Film Discussion: Watch and Discuss the films and documentaries related to political issues Guidance for study: Invite teachers of SIEPA and IIS to discuss the ways of study and research “Neglect the age”: GAF invites the retired professors of Fudan University to communicate and interact with GAF members, building the bridge of the old and the young Member Discussion: Journal ”Knock and Talk”: the contents include hotspots and reviews, commentary by GAF members on current affairs, books recommendation, introduction of famous scholars in political area, GAF activities review and foreshow, the latest academic research briefs of discipline, in-depth analysis of the political issues, the result of public opinion survey and study etc. Discussion on Internet: Take advantage of the tools on Internet (such as Blogs etc.) to organize discussion among the GAF members  Free Salon: Discuss the hotspots or academic problems and change personal opinions among core GAF members without any teachers.
Academic Research: GAF organizes research projects and provide aids to members’ academic research (such as provide financial aid, hold seminars and guidance for research, help collecting dates and materials, edit collected papers etc.). Public Opinion Survey: Survey the public opinion in Fudan in a short period of time after political incidents happened and study the result of survey in a long term in order to know the political tendency and make predictions Social Practice Cooperate with other associations and organizations (such Fudan Student Union) to hold related activities FD-H-USS-YY005 Piano Association Piano Association was established in 2001.Its precursor was Music Playground. However, the cooperation with LiuXingDongFang changed it. These years，we are committed to providing with the platform of piano studying for all the teachers and students in FDU.
