Note: curfew orders
Curfew orders (disposal codes 175 and 176) have an extra variable, namely a set number of hours per week for which the order has effect. An offender might, for example, be given a curfew order of 28 hours per week for 6 months. The number of hours per week appears in columns 15-17 of the court appearance (type 2) record. This three-character space is not used for any other purpose. The disposal code for a curfew order - 175 (with electronic monitoring) or 177 (without electronic monitoring) and the overall period for which it operates (6 months etc) appear in the offence information (type 3) record as with any other disposal.

A four-character code for the amount and a single-character code for the corresponding unit or duration relating to each disposal appear in columns 19-22, 30-33 and 41-44 (amount) and 24, 35 and 46 of record type 3. The two sets of codes for the duration/unit are set out below.
