Resource Sharing Constellations
Project Summary
Enterprises make use of ERPs and e-Commerce for the efficient and profitable management of their resources. However, such systems do not cater for the exploitation of unplanned idle resources or for a mechanism that searches in the idle resources of other companies. E-Sharing's objective is to design, develop and evaluate a service provided by a third party for the efficient managment of a virtual shared resources pool that includes the idle resources of all company users. It aims at providing an intelligent decision support system assisting company users to decide whether to lease resources or use their own and in providing for an alternative channel for the enterprises to exploit their idle resources. In order to realize such a service, e-Sharing system will adopt web based and XML technologies, intelligent and mobile agents, data mining and OLAP techniques and will develop interfaces to existing ERP systems.

Management Of Disruptive Innovation In Smart Organisations
Project Summary
The project mission is to help European enterprises continually enable, create, use and manage Disruptive Innovation (DI) as a major competitive capability and strategy. This can be achieved through specific Scientific Objectives (SOB): SOB1: To LEARN about research and industrial practice in DI SOB2: To DESIGN a methodical framework for DI SOB3: To DESIGN application and implementation methodologies and tools that will help companies to leverage DI SOB4: To IMPLEMENT and VALIDATE the DI methods and tools in real industrial contexts. There will be a high level of applicability and acceptance within different, distributed SME and large scale environments Additionally, the ease of use and appropriate investment cost for target group categories will be considered. While High level native data integration will be linked to providing consistent, non-redundant, transparent information in a highly dynamic, distributed, multi-cultural user environment.
DISRUPT-IT will establishes a scientific report of state of the art research, Industry Best Practice, industrial needs and high level specification based on case studies in partner’s sites. WP2 defines the system architecture, and then the individual modules of the tool suite. A top down approach is used, based on user needs, the scientific understanding. WP3 is focused on detailed design of the DI Management Methodology to evaluate innovation performance, continually monitor it and communicate and manage the changes required to improve. WP4 is the detailed specification and development of the 1st prototype and includes the selection of the appropriate IT platform and configurationWP5 develops a Smart DI Suite to integrate all aspects to help companies identify, create and capitalise on DIWP6 follows with the development of the 2nd prototype, based on findings from the early implementation of the 1st release in the partners’ sites. This phase is highly iterative, using concepts of rapid prototyping, and user feedback loopsWP7 is the development of the implementation suite, covering the design of the implementation process and the creation of training and awareness material WP8 is the critical demonstration and implementation phase. Here the tools are tested at industrial partner sites, and user responses are collected and fed back to the designers.

Project Summary
The INKASS project addresses the area that is at the intersection of Knowledge Management and Electronic Commerce. This area refers to the trade of explicit and implicit knowledge for specific needs at an inter-organisational level, addressing the opportunities and risks found in the purchase and selling of knowledge at the business-to-business environment. The INKASS project aims at the development of an Internet-based marketplace of knowledge assets that will be targeted at European SMEs and their knowledge needs in the areas of professional services for business management and engineering. The project result will be a total solution for knowledge trading, which integrates both technological and non-technical elements (business models, roles, processes and revenue models).
