5 Mechanical Works 5.1 Piping Contractor shall be responsible for the complete
pre-construction survey, construction engineering, Material receiving, handling,
transportation, storage, protection, colour coding, identification,
fabrication, installation, alignment of piping, testing, flushing,
cleaning, drying, purging, pickiling, NDT, inspection, PWHT, and bringing it to a state of mechanical and Pre-Commissioning completion in accordance with the Technical Information and in accordance with Contract specifications and good working practices. The contractor shall complete all mechanical and pipe Works required including but not limited to below
Fabrication, erection, testing and Pre-Commissioning of all Equipment and connected piping as per approved Project documents.
Preparation and qualification of all relevant welding procedures PQRs, WPSs and WPQ/welder qualification tests.
Fabrication and installation of on plot and off plot piping including valves,
safety relief valves, suction strainers, etc. and any other piping special item.
Carrying out NDT as per Company specification and relevant Project specifications and Hydro-testing of piping as per approved AFC drawings.
