Type locality: Zambia: “Mafinga mountains”.

Distribution: Zambia (north-east), Tanzania (west).

Specific localities:

TanzaniaMbaa Mountain near Tatanda; Sitebi Mountain; Usondo Plateau (Congdon and Collins, 1998).

Zambia – Changwena Falls; Shiwa Ngandu; Mkushi; Mafinga Mountians; Nyika (Heath, et al., 2002).

Habitat:

Early stages: Nothing published.

Larval food:

Phragmanthera usuiensis usuiensis (Oliv.) M.G. Gilbert (Loranthaceae) [Congdon and Collins, 1998: 95; Usondo Plateau, Tanzania].
