Corrie Elizabeth and Redmond Leigh Perry lived only a short time in Jasper Florida before moving to Boca Grande Island off the west coast of Florida. Redmond had a job with the railroad. As a small boy, Redmond's parents ran a general store and Post Office next to the railway depot and he always wanted to grow up and drive a train. They moved to Atlanta, Ga , which was the railroad center , and Redmond went to work for Southern Railway. He worked for over 40 years, most as an Engineer which he loved very much.
