The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department provides students with easy access
to computers and free IT training. The ITS computer lab is in the Burruss Building, Room 475. This lab hosts 120 networked computers, each equipped with a CD-ROM, A:\ drive, zip drive, Windows XP Operating System, MS Office Suite, Internet Explorer, pcGrasp, SPSS, Dreamweaver, and others. Students also have access to Macintosh computers and scanners. The ITS computer lab has over 20 lab assistants to help with your computer needs.

Each semester ITS offers free workshops for students, faculty and staff. Workshops cover

The Horace W. Sturgis Library
The library, named after the University's first president, Horace W. Sturgis, is designed to
support and advance the teaching and learning activities of the greater University community. Built in 1981 with over 100,000 square feet of space, the library has over 66,000 volumes of books and 1.2 million pieces of microforms. There are more than 3,300 serial publications and well over 1.6 million pieces of microforms.
Access to this extensive collection is through the online public catalog which is avail- able in the library and via the campus/library home page. For research services, faculty and students have access to a broad array of full-text and full-image databases such as Galileo, Early English Books, Proquest Direct, Lexis-Nexis, Ovid, ACM Digital Library and JSTOR.
Hours are posted at library entrances, the circulation desk, and on the campus web site; hours are extended during exams. To check out materials, the KSU ID card serves as your
