Randy Orton fought Kamala (w/ Kimchee) to a no contest at around 3:10 when, after Orton hit the RKO on his opponent, the lights went out in the arena and a message from the Undertaker was shown on the big screen

Psychosis & Super Crazy (w/ Juventud Guerrera) defeated William Regal & Scotty 2 Hotty at 3:44 when Psychosis pinned Scotty with the legdrop off the top moments after Regal walked out of the match; Scotty worked the entire match by himself

World Heavyweight Champion Batista defeated Christian via disqualification in a non-title match at 5:14 when John Bradshaw Layfield interfered as the champion attempted the sit-down powerbomb; after the bout, Batista threw JBL to the floor but eventually sustained four steel chair shots from Bradshaw as the show came to a close

Raw - included an opening backstage promo by Vince McMahon in which he said he would be taking the night off after defeating Shawn Michaels & "God" at Backlash, and said WWE Raw Tag Team Champions the Spirit Squad would be the co-GMs for the night; the Squad then said Kenny would be facing WWE World Champion John Cena later in the show; Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas was in attendance for the show; featured footage from WWE.com Unlimited in which WWE Women's Champion Mickie James attacked Maria during Maria's "Kiss Cam" segment; included a "This Week in Wrestling History" segment, narrated by Vince McMahon, focusing on the McMahons vs. Shawn Michaels & "God" match the previous night at Backlash; featured Mick Foley as a guest of "The Cutting Edge" in which Foley shook Edge's hand out of respect for the match the two had at WrestleMania 22 and had footage shown of Edge spearing him through the flaiming table during the bout; Foley then issued a challenge for a rematch later in the night; Edge then agreed - with Joey Styles prematurely saying "Next week!" - before Edge said he would fight Foley in any kind of match he wanted but next week; included a look at the set used for "See No Evil;" featured a ringside confrontation between Joey Styles and Jerry Lawler, after Styles was told by the Spirit Squad to improve his game, in which Styles slapped Lawler and Lawler shoved Styles to the floor, with Styles then storming off; after the commercial break, Lawler apologized to the fans and asked Styles to come back out so he could apologize for him; Styles then appeared on the stage and said it was WWE that asked him to take Jim Ross' spot and said it was insulting to the wrestlers for him to be told to ignore their moves to "tell a story;" Styles then vented about being pulled from working WrestleMania - because he didn't sound like JR - as well as Backlash, said he was sick of sports entertainment, Vince McMahon's behavior, and the fans that buy into that "crap," and then quit:

Torrie Wilson & Maria defeated WWE Women's Champion Mickie James & Victoria at 2:19 when Maria pinned Mickie after Trish Stratus, her arm in a sling, came out and tripped Mickie as she attempted to suplex Maria into the ring; the four wore cheerleading outfits under the order of the Spirit Squad; prior to the bout, footage was shown of Mickie's title defense the previous night in which Trish suffered a separated shoulder

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Mikey, Nicky, & Johnny defeated Eugene, Goldust & Gene Snitsky at 4:22 when Johnny pinned Eugene with a Johnny-Go-Round spin kick after avoiding the Stunner; prior to the match, footage was shown of the Eugene / Matt Striker altercation at Backlash; during the bout, Vince McMahon was shown watching the match from backstage with Candice Michelle; after the commercial break, Todd Grisham interviewed Eugene about the match, with Eugene insulting Eric Bischoff, until he was attacked by Striker

Kane pinned Rob Conway with the tombstone at 2:48; Kane hit Conway over the head with a trash can and hit the chokeslam but then walked out of the match until guest referee Shawn Michaels grabbed the mic, repeatedly said "May 19th," and then laid the mic on Conway's body so Kane would think he was the one who said it; under orders of the Spirit Squad, Michaels was forced to wear a shirt that had "May 19th" written across it but he hit a low blow on Conway before the match and put the shirt on him prior to Kane's entrance

Umaga (w/ Armando Allejandro Estrada) pinned Rory Fox with a splash off the top and the thumb strike to the throat at 1:14

WWE IC Champion Rob Van Dam & Carlito Caribbean Cool defeated Shelton Benjamin & Chris Masters in an impromptu match at around the 8-minute mark when Carlito pinned Benjamin with a roll up and grabbing the tights for leverage after Charlie Haas, who came through the crowd, prevented Benjamin from using a steel chair; the match was originally a Masterlock Challenge for RVD but turned into a tag match when Benjamin attacked RVD, with Carlito then making the save; moments later, Mikey of the Spirit Squad came out and ordered the four to face off in a tag team match; late in the bout, Joey Styles left the commentary position after receiving a note from the Spirit Squad that he was needed backstage; moments later, the Spirit Squad bullied Styles backstage and said he better improve his game or the next week he would have to wear a cheerleading outfit on Raw (the match began during the commercial break)

WWE World Champion John Cena pinned WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Kenny (w/ WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Mikey, Nicky, Johnny, & Mitch) with the FU at 8:03 after he and guest referee Shawn Michaels laid out the Spirit Squad; Triple H was the initial referee for the match, after being ordered to do it by Vince McMahon who threatened him by not giving him any more title matches, but walked out of the contest late in the match after a confrontation with Kenny and dropping Mitch with the Pedigree; as Triple H walked up the ramp, Michaels came out wearing a referee shirt and the two had a lengthy staredown before eventually glancing at the crowd and going their different ways; Todd Grisham did commentary for the bout alongside Lawler

Raw - featured an opening in-ring segment with Randy Orton, Edge, & WWE Women's Champion Lita in which they discussed their victories at Cyber Sunday and showed footage of their win over DX before introducing the man the fans voted in as guest referee, Eric Bischoff; Bischoff then came out, thanked the fans for their support, and said it was because of him that DX suffered their first loss; he then announced Vince McMahon had made him GM of Raw for one night only and said WWE World Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H all had the night off and that WWE IC Champion Jeff Hardy would defend against Johnny Nitro; the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Ric Flair & Roddy Piper then interrupted with Flair asking Bischoff about the time he confronted him in St. Louis and beat the crap out of him and Piper saying The Cutting Edge was nothing more than a Roddy Piper-rip off, Orton couldn't even rip off his father, and Piper was more controversial than Bischoff; Bischoff then made a match between Edge & Orton against Flair & Piper in a No DQ match for the tag team titles as the night's main event; included a look at the publicity stops WWE World Champion John Cena has done to promote "The Marine," including appearing on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian," "Live with Regis & Kelly," "MAD TV," "The Howard Stern Show," and "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and being featured in various magazines; featured an ad promoting the continuing Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifying matches which would take place the following night on ECW; included a pre-taped promo, said to be live, of Kevin Federline challenging WWE World Champion John Cena to face him New Year's Day in Miami on Monday Night Raw; featured comments from Ric Flair and Roddy Piper from Piper's upcoming DVD, "Born to Controversy," to recap the history between the two; included a backstage segment in which Shelton Benjamin confronted Carlito Caribbean Cool, with Torrie Wilson, backstage and said the only reason Carlito won the vote at Cyber Sunday was because America is prejucide against minorities and that black men around the world look up to him, with Ron Simmons then appearing and saying "Damn;" featured a "This Week in Wrestling History" segment focusing on the Wrestling Classic, held Nov. 7, 1985; Cindy Margolis, covergirl in the Dec. 06 Playboy magazine, was in attendance for the show; included an ad promoting WrestleMania 23 tickets going on sale the following Saturday:

Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) pinned WWE IC Champion Jeff Hardy to win the title in a No DQ match at 9:22 after crotching the champion on the top rope as Hardy attempted the Swanton on an interfering Melina and then hitting Hardy in the face with the title belt; prior to the bout, photos of Nitro & Melina with Kevin Federline and Paris Hilton were shown; Hardy originally won the match via disqualification at 1:29 when the referee caught Melina tripping Hardy but acting-GM Eric Bischoff came out and ordered the match to continue as a No DQ contest

Kenny & Johnny (w/ Mitch, Nicky, & Mikey) defeated Jim Duggan & Eugene at 2:37 when Johnny pinned Duggan with a roll up and grabbing the tights for leverage after Duggan knocked another Spirit Squad member off the apron; pre-match stipulations stated the losers of the match had to break up as a team; after the bout, Duggan & Eugene shook hands and parted ways only for Eugene to attack Duggan from behind, throw the referee out of the way, and assault Duggan with his own 2x4 before stomping and screaming his way backstage

Umaga (w/ Armando Allejandro Estrada) fought Maria to a no contest at around the 4-minute mark when WWE World Champion John Cena ran in the ring and tackled Umaga to the floor after Umaga knocked Maria out with a Samoan Drop and a running knee in the corner; Maria was forced into the match by Bischoff, who threatened to fire her if she didn't go through with the match; after the match, Todd Grisham asked Cena what he was doing on his night off with Cena cutting a promo on losing the night before, Kevin Federline, and Umaga before dropping Grisham with the FU; moments later, Cena said the next time Umaga wanted to beat up on someone he should try Cena and then accepted Federline's challenge

Chris Masters defeated Jerry Lawler via KO with the full nelson at 1:32 in an impromptu match; after Masters' entrance, Bischoff appeared on the big screen and ordered Jim Ross to face Masters because JR had been insulting Bischoff throughout the show but Lawler took the match instead; moments later, Bischoff ordered Lawler to wrestle the match with one hand handcuffed to the top rope or he would be fired from his commentating position; mid-way through the bout, Masters told the referee to uncuff the injured Lawler

Carlito Caribbean Cool pinned Shelton Benjamin at 2:39 with the Back Cracker after Benjamin became distracted by Cryme Tyme, who did guest commentary for the bout, stealing Benjamin's necklace and t-shirt

WWE Women's Champion Lita pinned Mickie James with the DDT at 1:27; prior to the bout, Jonathan Coachman joined Jim Ross on commentary for the remainder of the show; before the match began, Lita announced Bischoff ordered the challenger to wrestle the match with one arm tied behind her back; after the match, Lita introduced Bischoff as the guest referee for the main event

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Ric Flair & Roddy Piper defeated Randy Orton & Edge (w/ WWE Women's Champion Lita) in a No DQ match at 7:14 when Flair pinned Orton after DX interfered and Shawn Michaels dropped Orton with the superkick; Eric Bischoff was the guest referee for the bout until he was knocked out late in the contest; after the match, Edge, Orton, & Lita escaped into the crowd and Triple H dropped Bischoff with the Pedigree; moments later, Triple H brought out the fat male stripper, named Big Dick Johnson, and DX held Bischoff as Big Dick danced for him; DX then closed the show by shoving Bischoff's face into Johnson's ass, which had "DX" spraypainted on it (Cyber Sunday 06)

Smackdown! - featured an opening in-ring promo by World Heavyweight Champion Booker T, with Sharmell, in which Booker cut a promo on becoming the "Champion of Champions" from his win at Cyber Sunday and then said he was sad because he had no opponents left to defeat; moments later, Teddy Long came out with two photographers and congratulated Booker on the win as the photographers took shots of the champion posing; Long then said he owed Batista a big favor for protecting Booker and the world title the previous week and Batista would receive a title match at Survivor Series, but Booker might not be the defending champion; Long then said Booker would defend the title then and there against Bobby Lashley; included a look at the publicity stops WWE World Champion John Cena has done to promote "The Marine," including appearing on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian," "Live with Regis & Kelly," "MAD TV," "The Howard Stern Show," and "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and being featured in various magazines; featured a backstage segment between Teddy Long and MVP in which Long told him he would be facing Kane the following week in a streetfight; included a backstage segment in which WWE US Champion Chris Benoit confronted Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Vickie Guerrero about their behavior having something to do with Eddie's estate, with Vickie cutting him off and saying Chavo would be the new US Champion at the Survivor Series; included an ad promoting Eric Bishoff's Controversy Creates Cash in which he talked about the nWo and being thrown out of Hulk Hogan's home; featured an in-ring promo by Ken Kennedy in which he challenged the Undertaker to a match at Survivor Series, said Taker was holding him back and not letting him expand his legacy on Raw or ECW, and said Taker's career would end exactly 16 years after he made his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series; moments later, Taker came out and the two briefly brawled in the ring until Kennedy bloodied and repeatedly hit Taker in the face with the hanging microphone; included an ad promoting WrestleMania 23 tickets going on sale the following day; featured a look at Batista filming scenes for "Smallville," which would air the following Thursday; included clips throughout the show detailing the history between Batista and Finlay; featured a backstage segment between Mike Mizanin and Kristal in which Kristal yelled at him for not getting rid of the Boogeyman, with Miz saying he had challenged the Boogeyman to a match the following week:

World Heavyweight Champion Booker T (w/ Sharmell) pinned Bobby Lashley in an impromptu match at 13:48 with a roll up and grabbing the tights for leverage after Lashley grabbed an interfering Sharmell; during the match, it was announced Lashley would participate at the Survivor Series and team with John Cena, Kane, Sabu, & Rob Van Dam against the Big Show, Test, MVP, Finlay, & Umaga; after the bout, Booker attempted the scissors kick on Lashley but Lashley avoided the move and clotheslined Booker to the floor

Matt Hardy & Jimmy Wang Yang (w/ Amy) defeated WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms & Sylvan at 7:23 when Hardy pinned Helms with a Twist of Fate from the middle turnbuckle; during the bout, it was announced Hardy and Helms would be opposite sides at Survivor Series, Hardy teaming with his brother Jeff, CM Punk, and DX and Helms teaming with Mike Knox, Johnny Nitro, Randy Orton, and Edge

WWE US Champion Chris Benoit defeated KC James (w/ Michelle McCool) in a non-title match via submission with the Crippler Crossface at 3:45 after hitting the diving headbutt

The Boogeyman pinned TJ Dalton at 1:12 with a double choke slam; after the bout, the Boogeyman spat worms on his opponent (Boogeyman's return match following WrestleMania)

Batista pinned Finlay at 15:37 with a spinebuster after throwing him into an interfering World Heavyweight Champion Booker T on the apron, knocking Booker to the floor

Raw - 9/3/07 - featured an ad promoting CM Punk vs. ECW World Champion John Morrison for the following night on ECW; included a backstage segment with Vince McMahon and Jonathan Coachman with McMahon speaking about his lawyers, with Carlito then appearing with shorter hair and McMahon saying Carlito should team with Umaga, now angry over his IC title loss, against Triple H later in the night instead of the previously advertised Carlito vs. Triple H singles match; featured a backstage segment with Maria and Santino Marella in which she was upset with Santino for asking for her to have a rematch with Beth Phoenix; included a backstage segment with William Regal and Melina in which she whispered something to Regal about what she did with Vince McMahon; moments later, Stephanie and Linda McMahon appeared, with Linda slapping Melina; Ron Simmons then appeared and said "Damn;" featured an in-ring segment with William Regal in which he recapped Randy Orton's attack the previous week on the father of WWE World Champion John Cena; moments later, Randy Orton cut a promo on the big screen, with Regal then announcing Orton would face Cena for the title at Unforgiven; Cena then appeared on the entrance stage; several moments later, Cena attacked Regal, throwing him onto the commentary table, ripping at his clothes, and applying the STFU on the floor; included backstage footage of Regal being attended to by medics, during which Shane McMahon walked past, arriving to the arena; featured a vignette of CM Punk to promote Punk's match with Morrison the following night; included a backstage segment with Umaga and Carlito in which Carlito hyped up Umaga for their match later in the night against Triple H; featured a backstage segment with Vince speaking with his lawyers before telling Coachman he would have to fill in for Regal for the remainder of the night; moments later, McMahon fired one if his lawyers that suggested he settle with his family; included an ad for the DVD of "The Condemned;" featured a closing in-ring segment with Vince and his lawyers in which Vince accused his family of only wanting his money, with Linda McMahon and Stephanie then appearing; after Stephanie came out, Vince told her he put a video package together for her and showed clips of him beating her and Linda up at No Mercy 03; Triple H then appeared on the big screen, seemingly responsible for changing the footage; Stephanie then told Vince she did love him but thought he was sick and if he didn't get help then he should step down; as Vince began to protest, Shane appeared and agreed Vince had to change; Vince then said all the women that were brought out week after week were fakes and he had only cheated on Linda once, to the mother of his bastard child; after Vince got down on his knee to vow to be a better father and husband, Ken Kennedy appeared; Kennedy then said all the clues pointed to him being McMahon's mystery son and referred to Vince as "dad," with Stephanie disputing the claim; Kennedy then said Vince shouldn't have to change for anyone, wanted Vince to be more outlandish, and then hugged Vince; the mother's lawyer then appeared and said Kennedy was not Vince's son but the identity would be revealed the following week; the laywer then read a clue as to the man's identity, saying "Things are looking up":

Jeff Hardy pinned WWE IC Champion Umaga to win the title at 9:56 after bumping the ropes and causing Umaga to fall off the top turnbuckle; Umaga kicked out just at the 3-count, lifting Hardy up and out of the ring; during the commercial break, Umaga threw around several items around ringside, angry over the loss

Beth Phoenix pinned Maria with a cradle suplex at 47-second mark; prior to the bout, Santino Marella appeared with Maria and cut an in-ring promo saying his arm was healing and when it was healed he would embarass Ron Simmons; after Santino insulted the crowd, the Sandman came out of the crowd and repeatedly hit Santino over the head with his kendo stick, scaring him backstage; after the bout, Beth grabbed the mic, cut a promo on WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle, and then dropped Maria a second time with the cradle suplex - with Candice then running out to cover Maria

Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas at 5:13 when Kendrick pinned Haas with Sliced Bread #2; WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch provided guest commentary for the bout; due to pre-match stipulations, London & Kendrick earned a tag team title shot at Unforgiven; after the match, Cade & Murdoch got in the ring to congratulate the winners and shook their hands

Mickie James & Cody Rhodes defeated Jillian Hall & Daivari at 4:36 when Rhodes pinned Daivari with the DDT; prior to the bout, Jillian cut an in-ring promo in which she said, even though she had just had her wisdom teeth removed, she would perform for the crowd

Triple H defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool & Umaga via disqualification at 1:33 for illegal double teaming; after the bout, Carlito dropped Triple H with the Back Stabber and Umaga hit a splash from the middle turnbuckle; moments later, Umaga ran into a steel chair while attempting the back splash in the corner, with Triple H then clearing the ring of Carlito and giving Umaga multiple chair shots to the head, hitting him in the face with the sledgehammer, and then hitting the bloody Umaga in the back of the head to finish the assault

ECW - 9/23/08 - featured Jim Ross, subbing for Todd Grisham, & Matt Striker on commentary; included an opening in-ring promo by John Morrison & Mike Mizanin in which they argued over Mizanin's loss the previous week to Evan Bourne and complained they shouldn't be having to babysit "the freshmen" like Bourne and Ricky Ortiz; after they began making comments about Teddy Long's decision making, Long appeared and said the new superstar initiative had been successful; Morrison then brought up Braden Walker, who was fired after two matches; moments later, Mizanin then made a challenge for his team to face Bourne & Ortiz later in the night; Long then said they knew Bourne wasn't in the building, with Ortiz then coming out and accepting a challenge to face either Morrison or Mizanin; after Morrison and Mizanin both said they could beat anyone, Long ordered them to wrestle each other later in the show, with the winner then facing Ortiz; included a backstage segment with Long and Ortiz discussing Ortiz' match later in the show; moments later, Tiffany appeared and put Ortiz' rally towel around her neck; featured a WWE 24/7 Classics on Demand segment focusing on the 3/23/92 bout between Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper and WWF World Champion Ric Flair & Sid Justice at Madison Square Garden; included a promo on the entrance stage by Mark Henry, with Tony Atlas, in which he argued that ECW World Champion Matt Hardy can't beat him that he would take the title back at No Mercy; featured an ad promoting WrestleMania 24 and Smackdown! airing on MyNetworkTV the following week; included a "Did you know?" graphic which read WWE had produced 20 books that reached the New York Times Best-Seller list:
