Jeff Jarrett signed autographs in the lobby before the show, while Madison Rayne & Velvet sky did during intermission. After the show fans could take photos in the ring for Jeff Hardy while other wrestlers signed autographs at ringside.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion Velvet Sky pinned Sarita after a DDT.

Douglas Williams defeated Jay Lethal, Homicide, and Shannon Moore in a 4-way match to retain the TNA X-Division Title. Williams pinned Homicide after he'd just suffered a Full Nelson Suplex from Lethal.

Madison Rayne pinned Taylor Wilde with a rollup to retain the TNA Knockout Title.

Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, & Jeff Jarrett defeated Abyss, Matt Morgan, & Eric Young in a 6-man tag team match when Angle made Young submit to the Ankle Lock. Jarrett then thanked the crowd for their support.

Rob Terry pinned Orlando Jordan after hitting the Freakbuster to retain the TNA Global Title.

Jeff Hardy pinned A.J. Styles after hitting the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.

Alex Shelley defeated Max Buck, Jeremy Buck, and Robbie E. (with Cookie) in a 4-way match when he pinned one of the Bucks after hitting Sliced Bread #2 on both of them at the same time.

Mickie James pinned Madison Rayne after a DDT to retain the TNA Knockout Title.

Abyss pinned Kazarian after hitting the Black Hole Slam to retain the TNA X-Division Title.

James Storm & Robert Roode defeated Devon & D'Angelo Dinero to retain the TNA World Tag Team Titles when Storm pinned the Pope after hitting the Last Call Superkick. The bout was also a Bound For Glory Series match, and Storm earned 7 points with the win. Devon continued to sell the storyline that he was disgusted by the Pope's cheating ways, and after the match he walked out on his partner while shaking his head in disgust.

A.J. Styles pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Styles Clash.

Crimson pinned Gunner after a Powerbomb in a Bound For Glory Series match. Crimson earned 7 points with the win.

Kurt Angle pinned TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson in a non-Title match after hitting the Angle Slam. After the match fans could have their picture taken in the ring with Angle for $20.

Adam Cole picked up the victory in tonight’s opener with the Florida Key. There was adherence to the Code of Honor after the match, so it looks like Cole only refuses to shake hands when he’s not the one with the victory.
Roderick Strong def. QT Marshall
Strong gets the win after making QT tap out to the Stronghold. After the match, Adam Cole comes out and apologies to Roddy for refusing to shake his hand last week in San Antonio. The two ‘Best in the World 2013′ opponents then shook hands.
Davey Richards def. Cedric Alexander
This was said to have been a fantastic 20+ minute match between the two. Richards got the victory via submission with the Texas Cloverleaf.

Proving Ground

TD & ACH won’t be getting an ROH World Tag Team title shot any time soon thanks to reDRagon. The champs picked up the victory via submission with O’Reilly locking an armbar on ACH.
Hoopla Uncut
Truth Martini comes out with the Hoopla Hotties and two local strippers. He mentioned them being in some kind of contest, and sent them to the back to prepare for some physical auditions. Truth then brought out his guest, none other than Cheeseburger! He revealed to Truth that he got a boner when kissing Maria at Border Wars. Because of his honesty, he got a lap dance from the Hoopla Hotties. Martini told Cheeseburger that he could kiss the Hotties if he took his pants off. Just as he did, Rhino hit the ring so everyone left. This led to Steen coming out and starting out next contest.
Kevin Steen def. Rhino
Kevin Steen continued his revenge on SCUM by defeating yet another member of the group. He defeated the ‘Man Beast’ with an F5. Steen now has his sights set on Matt Hardy at Best in the World on June 22nd.
Matt Hardy def. Mark Briscoe
The next two challengers for the ROH World Title fought in Columbus with Hardy getting the win the win. Thanks to interference from SCUM, Hardy was able to capitalise and use the Twist of Fate to defeat Mark Briscoe.
SCUM (Jimmy Jacobs, Cliff Compton & Rhett Titus) def. Jay Lethal, Michael Elgin & BJ Whitmer
SCUM picked up another victory over ROH in a ‘No Rules’ 6-man tag team match. Cliff Compton pinned Jay Lethal with an F5 of his own, and Elgin & Whitmer were both visibly pissed off with Lethal after the match.

The last show before the Best in the World iPPV was on 6/8 in Columbus, OH, which drew 475 fans. Reports were it was a very good show. Mostly strong matches. The two best matches were said to be Jay Briscoe retaining the ROH title over Eddie Edwards, and a prelim match with Davey Richards over Cedric Alexander. The other major matches saw SCUM, with Jimmy Jacobs & Rhett Titus & Cliff Compton over Jay Lethal & B.J Whitmer & Michael Elgin, a Matt Hardy win over Mark Briscoe, Kevin Steen pinning Rhino and Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly in a non-title match beating ACH & Tadarius Thomas.

Silas Young defeated Tadarius Thomas

Jimmy Jacobs was victorious over local giant Sik Rik Matrix. Nigel McGuinness congratulated Jacobs and confirmed that he has his job back. However, when Jacobs asked who he would be facing at Final Battle, McGuinness admitted that he hadn't made a match for Jimmy in NYC and so Jacobs will have to sit out Final Battle.

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Mark Briscoe in a hard hitting contest

Outlaw Inc. beat the American Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards)

ROH World Champion Adam Cole defeated ACH in a Proving Ground match where ACH could have won a future World Title opportunity.

Four Way Action: Michael Elgin pinned Roderick Strong. Earlier in the match, Jay Lethal sent TV Champion Matt Taven through a ringside table with a giant elbow drop.

Steve Corino attempted to interview Jay Briscoe about his upcoming title match at Final Battle. Elgin and Cole both stormed the ring, but in the end it was Adam Cole left standing.

ROH World Tag Team Championship



reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) retained over C&C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander). After the defeat, Caprice took the mic and explained that he was ending the team of C&C. In Coleman's view, he and Cedric had done all they could as a team and it was time to see what lies ahead on their own. He praised Alexander as the future of wrestling. This match and post-show comments were emotionally intense and instantly must-see.
The 11/16 show in Columbus, OH opened with Young pinning Thomas. Jacobs pinned Rik Matrix. McGuinness came out and announced Jacobs was getting a spot on the roster stemming from his performance against Cole. Jacobs then said his goal was to be in the main event at Final Battle. McGuiness said the card for that show is full. Ciampa pinned Mark Briscoe with the falcon arrow off the top rope. Eddie Kingston & Homicide beat Richards & Edwards clean. Richards & Edwards after the match put over Kingston & Homicide, Outlaw Inc., as the team that will beat O’Reilly & Fish. Richards also teased the idea that they were leaving after Final Battle. Cole beat ACH in a non-title match with the figure four. Elgin won a four-way over Strong, Taven and Lethal when he pinned Strong. Jay Briscoe was doing an interview when Cole and Elgin both came out. Cole ended up taking Jay Briscoe’s belt he made for himself and threw the belt down. Briscoe was still champion when he did an injury angle and they stripped him of the title, and then made a new title belt. O’Reilly & Fish retained the tag titles over Coleman & Alexander in what was reported as a great match. After the match, Coleman puts over Alexander big on the mic. Apparently they agreed to go their separate ways and for both to wrestle as singles.
