Lessons From the Sea is a third to fifth grade marine science curriculum funded by a special appropriation through Senator Inouye’s office to NOAA. The partners in this endeavor are NOAA’s Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, NOAA’s Pacific Service Center, Pacific Resources for Education and Learning, Hawaii Institute of Marine & Biology, and the Hawaii Department of Education.
