7. Ethics and Politics – Politics aims at good government for the temporal welfare of the citizens. But between the temporal and the spiritual and eternal welfare there is no conflict. The two are inseparable in man’s present state of existence, where the material and the spiritual, the body and the spirit, form one person. Politics has often become very dirty and the reason is precisely because it is divorced from ethics.

9. Ethics and Education – Ethics takes form of Values education. Education develops the whole man his moral, intellectual and physical capacities. All school should develop good moral character, personal discipline, civic consciousness, etc.
Value education – aims to guide the individual in choosing wisely his values


and in acting upon them.
Ethics – goes deeper into the reasons why we must choose certain values. It explains human values in relation to the ultimate purpose of human existence.
Importance of Ethics

Ethics is an indispensable knowledge. Without moral perception, man is only an animal. Without morality, man as rational being is a failure. Moral integrity is the only true measure of what man ought to be. The most power king or the most successful professional is nothing unless he too is morally upright. Morality is the foundation of every human society. Every culture admits the importance of morality as a standard of behavior.
