Partners in Education Business Expo

This expo is designed for the educational community. Vendors can learn how to do business with San Jacinto College District and Pasadena Independent School District while participating in the expo surrounding the event. The audience will be teachers and school district employees seeking resources for both personal and professional purchases.

The Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration is a community-wide festival held each year in Brownwood, Texas featuring a variety of competitions, attractions (Beer & Wine Tasting, Midway, Route ^6 Exhibit, and Vintage Camper Show), vendors, music, and food in addition to the Saturday Concert opening with Uncle Cracker for Josh Turner.

Celebrate cotton with the 20th annual cotton boll fest in Ralls, Texas located 30 miles east of Lubbock, Texas. Enjoy a Quilt Show, craft and food vendors, agriculture displays, entertainment all day, raffles, contests, games, Miss Cotton Boll pageant and more. That night will be a dance featuring Cadillac Jack Band.

This event features your favorite songs performed by talented live musicians. This weekend event is two nights of fun, fireworks and live entertainment.

Presenting Kehinde Wiley: A New Republic, an overview highlighting the range of the artist's prolific 14-year career and comprising approximately 60 works. The exhibition begins with early examples of paintings inspired by Wiley’s observations of street life in Harlem; these images of African-American men mark the onset of his focused exploration of the male figure. Also includes a selection from the artist’s ongoing World Stage project.

The Lewisville Lake Symphony, an all-professional orchestra serving North Texas, will open its 32nd symphony series with a program featuring the winner of the 2015 International Competition for Strings, Christopher Lowry, viola. He will perform Bartok's Viola Concerto. The orchestra will also perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 6.

An eight-hour timed event that is run on an approximate 1.02 mile loop through Clark Gardens Botanical Park. Most of the course is either fine gravel or grass. All proceeds go to benefit The National Vietnam War Museum. The race starts at 7 a.m.

Fajita Fiesta attracts people and competitive cookers from across the Great State of Texas. Fajita Fiesta is a family friendly event with free admission, free parking and free concerts. There will be food booths, vendors, games, a jalapeno eating contest, mariachi groups, arts, crafts and so much more. Fajita Fiesta has something for everyone in the family.

Pull up a stool at the Science Discovery Lab for some amazing activities or simply explore the Museum’s visiting and permanent exhibits on your own. Find out for yourself at Archaeology Day—a day-long celebration of us—the humans. Examine real artifacts in Montshire's discovery lab, watch stone tool and pottery making demonstrations, be your own history detective at our site clues simulation, try out an archaeologist’s tools in a table-top dig, get your hands messy at the pottery workshop, throw an atlatl, and talk to real local archaeologists.

The famed alto saxophonist brings his quartet, heralded as “jazz at its finest - in conception, execution and spontaneity.” With Orrin Evans (p), Ugonna Okegwo (b), and Clarence Penn (d).

Famous world class wrestlers in the ring within the Commercial Building. No additional fees to attend this event. Seats fill up fast and meet and greets with the wrestlers are available.

A full pet agility course is available within the horse arena and prizes awarded at end of the event. The pet show begins at 2:00 and a full class schedule will be available by downloading our free app. This is the only day pets are welcome at the fair grounds.
