Step back in time with this historical and educational tour as our offbeat, theatrical guides take you through the historic section of the Village and into the Cemetery. They’ll provide you with an eerie, yet fun filled adventure as you learn about graveyard etiquette, tombstone symbols, and the people buried within.

Join us for a celebration of traditional and contemporary Native American culture expressed through music, drumming, dance, arts, children’s activities, demonstrations and storytelling. The event will promote a deeper appreciation of Indigenous culture, heritage and traditions of Native peoples in this bi-national region. Everyone is welcome. You honor us with your presence.

Start your excursion on the Pine St. railroad platform near the Lockport Caves right here in Lockport, NY. Climb aboard beginning promptly at 12:45pm. Take a leisurely trip on vintage 1947 Budd Coaches through the beautiful Niagara countryside. You’ll visit the Medina Railroad Museum for a self-guided tour of the largest collection of train memorabilia in New York. Then return aboard the train to beautiful Spring Lake Winery at Varallo Vineyards for dinner with live music and fine wine.

Enjoy continuous samplings of wines from the finest wineries in NYS. Pair your wine with an array of hors d'oeuvres and desserts created by selected regional caterers and restaurants. The Aquarium of Niagara is a not-for-profit organization and all proceeds go to the aquarium for exhibits and animal care.

Rehearsals to begin on September 9, 2015 for the 52nd year of the Forest Hills Symphony. Player membership open to all who play an orchestra instrument. Open seats include Oboe, Bassoon, French Horn, Trombone, All Strings. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00. Three concerts annually--November 22, February 28, and May 15. Sunday afternoons at 2:00.

Three masterpieces anchor this exhibit of works by Inuit artists in whalebone. Inuit carvings in soapstone, serpentine and other local stones are well known. In communities that did not have stone suitable for carving, artists carved 100- year-old whalebone, ingeniously adapting features of the bone to create startling, original works of art.

Mandolin artist Sierra Hull is headlining America’s only bluegrass festival that promotes Bible study, camping and wholesome recreation. The line-up also includes the Snyder Family Band, luthier Wayne Henderson and flatpicker Clay Lunsford, and Tim White and the VW Boys from the PBS program Song of the Mountains.

Grace Court will host thousands of art enthusiasts from all over NC. Artists from all over NC and beyond compete for a coveted spot at ARTSfest, deemed in past years to be some of the artist’s most successful show. All medias are represented in the festival and there are cash awards for Best in Show, Jurors Choice [4], Merit [4] and Best Booth. Roger Williams Park Zoo salutes the men and women who serve our nation and communities with a special Day of Honor, with free admission for veterans and members of our armed forces, active and retired police, fire and ambulance personnel, and other emergency responders, as well as half price admission for up to three guests.
