PigPen Theatre Co. began creating their unique brand of music, film, and theatre as freshmen at Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. Their debut indie-folk album, “Bremen”, was named #10 album of the year in The Huffington Post’s 2012 Grammy preview.

Revering the tremendous legacy of The Four Tops, Temptations and Supremes, Shadows of the 60’s brings to life these songs that span decades. The celebration is rated as one of the top 5 celebrations in Iowa with over 30,000 people every year. Live music acts are featured Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The live auction begins at 1 p.m. along the museum’s waterfront campus, where more than 90 boats—ranging in size and performance from sailing dinghies to cabin cruisers, and everything in between—will be auctioned off to the highest bidders.

The fall gala includes cocktails, dinner, and dancing on Navy Point. Funds raised support the Museum’s mission to inspire an understanding of and appreciation for the rich maritime heritage of the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal reaches, together with the artifacts, cultures, and connections between this place and its people.
