Brandon Drumm

Height: 6-1

Weight: 233

Position: FB

College: Colorado

Drafted: Pick 22 of the 7th round by Detroit
Analysis
Positives: Shows good quickness out of his stance, getting into the holes smoothly and easily...Can accelerate to the block point and shows decent balance and body control working through traffic...Straight-line runner who lowers his pads and drives with his legs to break arm tackles...Shows good hands and is effective on dump-offs, curls and flats... Runs precise routes and shows good awareness working the zone...Will square up and collision defenders, lowering his shoulder to occupy the rush lanes and sustain...Keeps his feet and takes good angles with his blocks.
Negatives: Has marginal change of direction agility and lateral movement...Does not show explosion in his initial moves...Poor outside runner with limited hip swerve and wiggle...Lacks separation skills running pass routes...Does not have the agility to make adjustment blocks on the move...Despite his power, he rarely runs over defenders...More of a position blocker than one who will make hits working in space...Inconsistent with his anchor vs. the power moves.
