Nomads coaches the bell family

Rachel Mervine currently plays for UMass-Amherst where, as a freshman & sophomore, she played in every game. She has a .500 shot on goal percentage and her versatility enables her to be played at any position. She attended Frontier HS where she was senior co-captain; 2002 and 2003 All-Scholastic first-team member; two-time first-team All-League selection; two-time White Mountain Sports All-Star, and a member of the USFHA Futures 2002 team. She also coaches for the USFHA Futures Program.

Becky Letourneau currently plays for UMass-Amherst and is ranked fourth in the A-10 in saves and save percentage. She also coaches USFHA Futures Goalies for Western Massachusetts. She attended Greenfield (MA.) HS and was 13-3 with a .882 save percentage as a senior in 2003; posted 10 shutouts; compiled a 16-2 record as a junior in 2002 with a .897 save percentage. Letourneau also recorded 13 shutouts when her team won the Western Mass HS championship and was a state finalist.

As a collegian, Tara Nappi was an All-American selection (1998), an All-CAA (1998) and a two time All-South (1997-98) in field hockey at James Madison University. She was also a member of the Dukes’ 1994 Div I National Championship team and the 1995 CAA Conference Championship team. Her coaching experience includes several camps and the multi talented 2005-2006 U-19 Nomads travel team.
