Duties: The Youth Policy Officer contributes to the development, implementation and subsequent evaluation of youth policy across government and non government sectors at regional, state and national level. Contribute to the development and implementation of a range of State wide youth strategies and initiatives which aim to increase young people’s participation and empowerment in the community. Provide advice, including at Ministerial level, on a range of youth related issues which supports policy development and directorate objectives. Special Conditions: This is a part time position working 30 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. Some out of hours work may be required.
