Descent NOW for a 3 degree glide path ( or as required)
NOTE that emphasis is put on the “NOW” as the aircraft intercepts . It is advised that the crew actually begin the process of initiating the descent as the controller says, ‘begin descent’ otherwise the aircraft will go slightly through the glide path and be high.
