SUBJECT OUTLINE

AIMS Computer User Skills is an introductory computer course designed to enable students to effectively use the basic functionalities of a Computer. The course aims to give students practical knowledge of an operating system, and widely used application software including productivity tools, and the use of the internet to communicate and search for information. The course places emphasis on industry-standard software packages which enable students to understand issues related to the use of computers as a tool for solving problems and improving personal and organisational productivity.
