Activities performed: Design Scope: (1) Spearhead sediment sampling at the coast; (2)
Analyzed sediment sampling results; (3) Produced environmental solutions and designs for the removal, containment, disposal methodologies for contaminated sediments. Construction Supervision Scope:Led in planning the work and organizing the environmental team to (1) Supervise the environmental and social management and monitoring activities implemented by Contractors. (2) Propose specific actions and countermeasures to specific issues related to the environment and social issue. (3) Recommend additional monitoring and mitigation measures when necessary. (4) Prepare and submit the Environmental Monitoring Reports periodically. (5) Assist PMU in supervising the program for preventing HIV/AIDS which is to be undertaken by Nacala municipal government.
