Position held: Team Leader/ Social and Environmental Start-up Manager
Activities performed:Led in planning the work and organizing the environmental team on: (1) Establishing CONTRACTOR’S Standard Operating Procedures including but not limited to: (i) Field Survey and Monitoring PLANS and method statements; (ii) Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans and Procedures; (iii) Reporting formats and templates; and (iv) Information Management and Document Control. (2) Co-ordination of and preparation of pre-mobilisation deliverables; (3) Establishing Sub-contracts and agreements with specialist providers; (4) Equipment and materials procurement and management for and on behalf of the COMPANY; (5) Leading production of Ecological and Landscape Management Implementation Plans; (6) Leading planning, implementation and reporting of pre-construction E&S assessments until OTHER CONTRACTOR’S organizations are in place (expected 3Q 2014); (7) Training of PERSONNEL in technical and HSSEQ requirements in accordance with COMPANY requirements as referenced within the CONTRACT and training In-country coordinators in each country; (8) Initial management of ecologist and monitoring technician activities; (9) Monthly assurance visits to audit CONTRACTOR conformance with relevant CALL-OFFS and CONTRACTOR procedures; and (10) Review and QA of all CONTRACTOR reports.
