Main project features: The consulting services involve the supervision of the three civil works contracts for: Lot 1: Mingachevir - Mingachevir Station section (16.7.km); Lots 2: Qaragachi – Bahramtapa (111.9 km); Lot 3: Mingachevir Station - Qaragachi (26 km)
Activities performed: Generally managing health and safety aspects of the construction projects under the Conditions of Contract for Construction MDB Harmonised Edition 2010 published by FIDIC consisting of the following tasks: (1) Review of the Contractor’s site mobilisation plans and activities; (2) Review the Contractor’s Health & Safety Plan/Manual; (3) Review the Contractor’s Traffic Management plan; (4) Investigate the Contractor’s facilities on site especially crusher, asphalt and concrete plant; (5) Investigate the Contractor’s first aid pre-cautions; (6) Periodic site investigations; (7) Evaluation of accident reports and recommendations for pre-cautions; and (8) Health and Safety Seminars for all staff on site.
