Led in planning the work and organizing the environmental team to: (I) Assist the Implementing Agency (IA), the United Water Supply Company of Georgia in the preparation of the necessary environmental impact assessments in accordance with ADB, and GoG standards; (ii) Complete a rapid environmental assessment (REA), and prepare an initial environmental examination (IEE) for the project; (iii) Carry out meaningful consultation with affected people and facilitate their informed participation regarding environmental aspects of the Project; (iv) Prepare an EIA/ IEE report, where necessary, in accordance with ADB's SPS 2009 and the Government's environmental assessment requirements and review procedures; (v) Coordinate with and contribute design related inputs to the sector specialists on design.
