Mandala—a graphic, symbolic pattern of the universe always a circle with parts, each representing universal attributes in Jungian psychology, a symbol representing efforts to reunify the self to the universe.
InStructIonS
Each student will create a unique, personalized mandala. Besides following the few guidelines below, particularly those regarding shape and size, there are no requirements. However, everything must have a meaning that you assign to it colors used, shapes, symbols, concept of inside/outside, up/down, placement on the space, directional attributes, light/dark, and so on.

1. The mandala MUST be a circle. The completed mandala must not exceed a inch diameter or fall under a inch diameter. This is NOT a “collage/montage.” Therefore, you should have no words on it, no cutout pictures from magazines, or downloaded images from the computer—it is important that this is your creation. Your name as a creator goes on the BACK only, along with a complete heading that includes your class, period, and the date.
