11.1 Implementation


  1. During every 6 months all interested in IPM activities will meet to discuss the progress report and activities plan for the following 12 months. The extension staff, cooperative/association extension staff sponsored and none sponsored by KAPAP PCU and representative of farmers responsible for IPM execution will give periodic reports and planned activities for the following quarter, and should reflect the approved work program for each in association or cooperative. This should include:

  1. Name of crop and area under demonstration,

  2. Activities performed during this period (1 to 3 months),

  3. Number of farmers involved,

  4. Dates of various activities,

  5. Inputs used

  6. Pest and diseases observed and control methods

  7. Person hours or days spent on each activity

  8. Field days and number of people attended

  9. Farmer to farmer visits done and number of participants

  10. Leaders invited and attended any of IPM events

  11. Lessons learnt and problems during the month

  12. Other activities done by the group

  13. Future plans

  14. Observation and suggestions
