Scientific research interests

Completed studies in the doctoral programme, the promotion exams had been passed. Doctor’s dissertation “Promotion of Reflection Competence in the Teacher Education at” had been handed in to the Promotion Council of The University of Daugavpils in November 2002.

International Projects

  • 1998-2000 – Soross Fund – Latvia programme “Changes in Education”. Co-ordinator of the project “Step by Step” at the LLU.

  • Since 2001 – participated in the research project granted the financial support from Latvia Council of Sciences “Education of Teachers Changes Towards the Sustainable Development”. The Manager of the project is Assoc. Prof. I. Salīte (Daugavpils University of Pedagogy). There are three higher establishments in Latvia involved in the project: Daugavpils University of Pedagogy, Liepāja Academy of Pedagogy and Latvia University of Agriculture.
