A coach trip begins this tour to Pisa, where you will then meet your guide. Apart from taking you to visit the Piazza dei Miracoli where the Leaning Tower stands, the place from where Galileo Galilei conducted his famous acceleration experiments, the Pisa itinerary also includes an inside viewing of the 13th-century cathedral and a look around the marble baptistery, a large round Romanesque dome with gorgeous views of the city from the top. Pisa’s conveniently small city centre is full of attractive squares, buildings, stores and restaurants, which you will have time to explore on your own or do some shopping. Your tour comes to a close with your return to the port of La Spezia and your ship

SPE06 – PORTOFINO: THE JEWEL OF ITALIAN RIVIERA

Duration: approx. 7.5 hours, lunch not included

Spend a day away from the ship and join us on an exclusive tour to Portofino. Board a coach and enjoy the ride to Santa Margherita Ligure where you will board a boat to reach your destination. The boat ride will afford you to admire the lovely scenery, a chance to enjoy this lush section of the Italian Riviera. Once in Portofino, your guide will take you on an itinerary that will unveil the beauties of this renowned seaside town: you will reach the Church of San Giorgio, dating to 1154, and the lighthouse. Next you will have plenty of leisure time to explore Portofino at your pace, to take pictures or relax in the chic cafés and restaurants. We will continue by boat to Santa Margherita, where you will board a coach for your return to La Spezi.

Please note: the feasibility of the tour depends on weather conditions and it will be reconfirmed during your cruise. In case of adverse weather conditions, the transfer from Santa Margherita to Portofino and vice versa will take place by coach.

You will also have time to explore the city at your leisure, go shopping or look for a nice restaurant to have lunch.
