After leaving the port of Cannes, a short coach drive will take you to the wonderful city of Nice, one of the most popular resorts on the beautiful French Riviera. You will have a chance to enjoy the view from the famous palm-lined Promenade des Anglais that overlooks the sea, take a look at the legendary Negresco Hotel with its delightful Rococo façade and pass by the Russian Orthodox Cathedral with its brightly coloured ceramics and six onion domes. The last stop on your tour will be Nice’s historical quarter, where you can spend some free time exploring the attractive Cours Saleya market square and its rich produce as well as the nearby open-air cafés and souvenir shops. Your tour ends with your return to the port and your ship.


CEQ02 – CANNES & ST. RAPHAEL

Duration: approx. 4 hours

After leaving the port, you can first look forward to a drive along the amazing coastline of the French Riviera en route to the captivating city of Cannes, a busy tourist destination and the host of the annual international Cannes Film Festival. You will then have some free time to explore the city centre at your own pace. Apart from the lovely old town with its winding lanes, narrow alleys and great views from the castle ruins, other Cannes’ highlights include the yachts moored in the harbour and the wonderful La Croisette seafront promenade with its luxury hotels and boutique shops. After re-boarding your coach, you will then head to St. Raphael for a sightseeing tour of this French “commune” that developed into a seaside resort popular with artists, sportsmen and politicians. Enjoy some time is this lovely coastal town and explore its hidden corners before boarding your coach and returning to Cannes.


CEQ03 – NICE & EZE

Duration: 5 hours

Leave Cannes and follow the scenic coastal road that offers lovely views of French Riviera before arriving at the medieval cliff-top town of Eze. Pass the XIV century double gateway and enjoy a walk through the narrow streets of the town. A stop for shopping is scheduled at the renowned Fragonard perfume factory to learn about French perfume techniques and purchase sample fragrances. Next we will continue on to Nice, capital of the “Côte d’Azur”. Here we will admire the famous seafront boulevard known as the “Promenade des Anglais”, the legendary “Negresco” Hotel with its delightful rococo façade and pass by the Russian Orthodox Cathedral with its brightly coloured ceramics and six onion domes. Finally we will visit the old town and have some free time on the attractive “Cours Saleya”, a colourful square in Nice old town.

CQ04 – THE JEWELS OF MONACO & MONTECARLO

Duration: full day, lunch not included

Depart from the port and drive along the coastal road passing St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, Eze-sur-Mer to the Principality of Monaco. Our first stop will be at the Rock of Monaco where we will park before heading up into the old town. Our guide will lead us through the narrow uphill streets, past the Oceanographic Museum, the Cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III are buried (outside view), and the fairytale Prince’s Palace. We will also see one of the most famous buildings of the Principality: Monaco’s legendary Casino which stands next to the glamorous Hotel de Paris. Here we will have a guided tour of the elegant square and surrounding buildings before enjoying some free time.



Please note: the tour does not include an internal viewing of or admission to the Casino. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility problems.
CASABLANCA (Morocco)
Forever immortalized by the classic movie of the same name, Casablanca is Morocco's modern metropolis. Here a rich blend of Art Deco architecture and North African traditions fuse with a French colonial past. Enjoy the contrast of cultures offered in this cosmopolitan city or immerse yourself in authentic Morrocan culture in the exotic towns of Fez, Rabat and Marrakech.
CAS01 - CITY TOUR AND HASSAN II’ S MOSQUE

Duration: approx. 4 hours

Founded by the Carthaginian who called the city “Anfa”, Casablanca as it is today is the result of rebuilding work carried out after a devastating earthquake in 1755. This city excursion will take you on a panoramic tour through the main streets and squares of Casablanca with a short stop at a typical local market where you will find a variety of goods and a local natural pharmacy. We will visit the beautiful Cathedral of Notre Dame de Lourdes and the highlight of the excursion will be a visit to the magnificent Mosque of Hassan II, the largest mosque in the Islamic world after Mecca.



Please note: if the call falls on a day of religious celebrations the visit to the mosque will be around the exterior only. Conservative attire is recommended for visiting the mosque.
CAS02 - MARRAKECH

Duration: full day, lunch included

Situated a 3-hour coach drive from the port of Casablanca lies the vibrant city of Marrakech, also called the “Pearl of the South”. Included in the tour itinerary are some of Marrakech’s key sights, including the beautifully decorated Saadian tombs and the magnificent late 19-century Bahia Palace and gardens. A stop will be made for you to enjoy a reviving lunch, after which the tour continues on to its final destination: Marrakech’s bustling Jamaa el-Fna Square. This old marketplace in the city’s medina quarter is teeming with life. Traders, snake charmers, acrobats, jugglers, storytellers, magicians, musicians and peddlers of traditional medicines: this place has got the lot. Before returning to Casablanca you will break for a short visit to a natural pharmacy.
