Request from Emily Kalil, Camp Summit, Outdoor Education Centre Director
- for a trail, environment related project, on April 22 that would involve 100 international students around 12 years old.
Ideas for trails projects
Perhaps the Mike Weeks trail that goes around Highlands Elementary. We would need $1000 of gravel (3 loads). This project could keep 25 kids and staff busy for a whole day. We’d want to engage the Highlands Elementary as a collaboration with Camp Summit for Earth Day. John H will talk to the Principals at Highlands Elem.
Nature Trail gravelling is another potential project but needs a small machine because the distance to walk is too far and onerous for kids.
Perhaps some of the kids could do a brushback project.
- Stephane will invite Emily to February meeting.

Huge thanks to Elspeth and Atlantic Power for their support. Stéphane captured the cheque donation with a photo.
Could engage the membership to see who would be interested in a site visit, as Elspeth has offered.
