The CPU has a Memory Information Register (MDR) and a Memory Address Register (MAR). The MDR keeps the information which is moved between the Memory and the computer processor. The Program Counter (PC) is a unique register in the central processor which consistently keeps the location of the following guidance to be executed. The ALU puts the location of the memory to be brought, into the MAR.
