T-1849 ATLANTIC TERMINAL
BROOKLYN, NY
TARGET RECOMMENDATIONS
Passenger Elevators 1-3

  1. Install elevator ID tactile at all landings.

Passenger Elevators 4-5

  1. Clean the floor on the other side of the first access door to the machine room. Getting very nasty and starting to track it onto the store when the techs go in and out.

  1. Install elevator ID tactile at all landings.

Freights

  1. Install elevator ID tactile at all landings.

  1. There are two roof hatches in the top floor where access is through the Target space of stairwell C. Although they are above the stairwell, stairs could be made to access the roof about 25 feet to the North of the machine room of Elevators 7,8,9. Would be safer and more convenient for machine room access and probably the most cost effective way to resolve the problematic roof access issue.

Vermaport

  1. There is a ¾ inch wide by 8” long gap between the top Vermaport landing plate and the Down Escalator plate. Fill it in with a foam bead and caulk.

Escalators
None.
