Lee will perform on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on February 24 and “Live From Daryl’s House,” airing on Palladia on February 27 at 11 PM/10 PM CT. The Philadelphia native will be guest on “Tavis” in February and perform on an upcoming episode of PBS’ “Music City Roots,” a new musical variety show hosted by Jim Lauderdale in Nashville. He will also be featured in the Life Is Good Festival's 90 minute concert special, which will air on Palladia this Saturday, January 25, at 9:00 PM ET.

Amos’ episode of “Acoustic Café” will air on 90+ radio stations the week of January 27 (visit http://www.acafe.com/ for details). Mountains Of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song (Blue Note Records), his new album, has topped the Americana chart for the past two months.

Lee will kick off the next leg of his tour on February 15 at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR. The outing will include shows at The Wiltern in Los Angeles (February 21) and the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (April 19). Amos is donating $1 from each ticket sold for the tour to Musicians On Call (www.musiciansoncall.org/amos), a non-profit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Lee will play a series of European dates in May, including two sold out shows at Paradiso in Amsterdam, and perform at numerous festivals this summer, including The Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival (5/16-18) and Firefly Music Festival (6/19-22). See below for itinerary.

Mountains Of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song is the follow-up to 2011’s chart-topping Mission Bell. The New York Times hailed it as a “serenely sure-footed effort from Amos Lee, a singer-songwriter who rarely delivers anything else” and Elmore observed, “‘Mountains of Sorrow’ may be Lee’s finest yet.” Entertainment Weekly praised his “strikingly soulful voice” while Paste noted, “Lee makes sorrow shimmer…Like Jackson Browne for another generation, Lee understands the staining traces of love.” The album was produced by Jay Joyce (Emmylou Harris, Eric Church, Cage the Elephant) and features guest vocals by Alison Krauss and Patty Griffin.
