Introduction KIRTHID
2. Injection Molding:
In this step, the PET resin is melted and injected into a preform mold using an injection molding machine. The preform is a test tube-shaped piece of plastic that will later be blown into the final bottle shape. The injection molding process involves heating the PET resin to a high temperature and then injecting it into a preform mold under high pressure.

3. Blow Molding:
The next step is blow molding, where the preform is heated to a specific temperature and then stretched and blown into the final bottle shape using a blow molding machine. The blow molding machine uses a two-step process: first, the preform is stretched in length and then in width. This results in a thin-walled bottle that is strong and lightweight.
The process consists of extruding or “dropping” a parison on which female mold halves are closed. The female mold halves contain the shape of the product to be produced.

4. Finishing:
After the bottle is blown, it undergoes several finishing steps, including trimming excess plastic, removing the neck ring, and applying labels and other decorations.

QUALITY CONTROL MEASURES AND TESTING PROCEDURES:
Material testing: The raw materials are tested for purity and quality before being used in the manufacturing process.

In-process inspection: The preforms and bottles are inspected during the manufacturing process to ensure that they meet the required dimensions and specifications.

Leak testing: The finished bottles are subjected to a leak test to ensure that there are no leaks.
Quality control checks: The finished bottles are subjected to a series of quality control checks, including visual inspection, weight measurement, and drop testing, to ensure that they meet the required standards.

Overall, the manufacturing process of PET bottles involves several steps, types of equipment and machinery, and quality control measures and testing procedures to produce high-quality, durable, and sustainable packaging solutions.
