Bitman By David Evjen Bitman1@aol.com Friday, July 24th, 2015  INSELTOWN TATTLER… MEEK MILL is backing off on bashing DRAKE…but only for the sake of NICKI MINAJ. She apparently got ticked over Meek trashing her friend by claiming he doesn't write his own rhymes. Meek gave Nicki a public apology while they were performing Wednesday night in Virginia and backed off the hate by saying he was just "upset as a fan" that Drake's verse on his album was written by someone else. (See here-preview) Apparently there was a mix up in communications as at last report CHRIS BROWN was still stuck in the Philippines. It turns out his plane taxied out to the runway, but was called back and never took off. Chris was supposed to perform in Manila last New Year's Eve, but was a no show. He says it was because he lost his passport, but the promoter says Chris got his million dollar payment and never refunded it. While stewing in his hotel room, Chris jokingly reached out to President Obama for help via Instagram. It probably didn’t hurt that he had many of his celebrity supermodel friends on hand to help loosen up the wallets. Elton John and John Legend performed at the event and they each offered personal concerts, which were auctioned for $3 million each. (See Elton and John here) JON STEWART may be leaving The Daily Show after 16 years, but you can cling to the memories by buying one of the Armani suits he wore on the show. Stewart is auctioning off the custom-made suits on eBay to benefit Achilles International, a charity for athletes with disabilities. The bidding begins at a mere $200 and if you were hoping to get some use out of the suits yourself, Stewart is 5-foot-7 and wears a size 40S.
