Bitman By David Evjen Bitman1@aol.com Friday, July 24th, 2015  USIC NOTES… A planned free concert by FUTURE at the Roxy in Los Angeles last night didn’t go according to plan. Fans started lining up at 9 a.m. for the midnight show and trouble began when they handed out the 500 wristbands at 1 pm. Cops had to break out their riot gear when people started getting rowdy and they eventually pulled the plug on the show. Donald Trump has apparently flip-flopped on the important issue of MAC MILLER and his song Donald Trump. At first, Trump endorsed the song, calling Miller "the new Eminem," but then flip-flopped, demanding royalties and calling Miller an "ungrateful dog." Now, he's playing the song for reporters while they interview him about his campaign. OMI isn’t the overnight success you might imagine as he’s revealed his song “Cheerleader” has been eight years in the making. Omi, which is short for Omar, is the nickname his dad used to call him, and his debut album will be out this fall. So far, his biggest purchase is a new set of rims for his car. It was part of a conference hosted by Michelle Obama aimed at helping college-bound teens and President Obama also made an appearance. Singer DARON NORWOOD was found dead in his Texas apartment this week. Officials say there were no signs of foul play. Norword previously struggled with drugs and alcohol, but said he got sober in 1995.
