HE WATERCOOLER…
If you still haven’t planned your summer vacation, you’ll want to scratch Newfoundland off your list. They’ve had virtually no summer at all and have been plagued with rain, drizzle and fog, known by locals as RDF. Even the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary issued a press release seeking summer that read, "SUMMER was last seen in early August of 2014. When last seen, SUMMER was described as being between 20-30 degrees Celsius (68-86 degrees Fahrenheit), blue skies with a bright and warm source of light in the sky. There have been sporadic sightings of this bright object, but these sightings have been rare since May 2015." (See here) A local meteorologist even launched a contest asking residents to come up with a new name for July. (See here) Police even jokingly arrested a local weatherman. (See here)

PORTS SHIRT…
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is changing positions to receiver this season. Miller missed the entire 2014/15 season due to a shoulder injury that required surgery.
Argentina's Emiliano Grillo shot an 8-under-par 64 yesterday to take the first-round lead in the Canadian Open. Perhaps the highlight of the opening round was when Robert Allenby and his caddie split after getting into a heated argument, leaving Allenby to have a fan jump in to caddie for his last nine holes.
Lizette Salas, Katherine Kirk and Dori Carter share the first-round lead in the Meijer LPGA Classic at 7-under-par 64.
