Executive summary Introduction Body Conclusion Save your sources! Always save the sources you use. This is absolutely critical for doing decent research! When you save information in your ‘notes’, always copy/paste the URL where you found the information or note down which book or magazine you used. A note on sources Wikipedia is not allowed. Investopedia is not allowed. In IFMC, you are expected to use APA referencing . Referencing is a standardized method to save and account for your sources. APA referencing consists of two parts: An in-text reference at the place where you used the information from the source. An entry in your reference list with details about the source, at the end of your report. Example of an in-text reference, according to APA: “Research is a very important skill for students to master. Students who are very adept at doing research , have a 60% higher chance of obtaining their degree (Smith, 2017).” Example of a reference list entry, according to APA: Smith, J. (2017).
